    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish complete closing of a landing door by positively moving the landing door to a predetermined door closing position at its door closing time without reinforcing force of a closer.
      SOLUTION: The door device for an elevator is equipped with the landing door 10 and a car door 27. At a door opening time, immediately after the car door 27 having a driving force moves from a door closed position in the door opening direction, the car door 27 engages with the landing door 10 via an engagement mechanism 28 and both the doors move in the door opening direction. At a door closing time, the engagement is released immediately before the car door 27 and the landing door 10, in an engaged state, move integrally in the door closing direction and reach the door closing position, and transfer of the driving force from the car door 27 to the landing door 10 is intercepted. The device is also provided with a toggle spring mechanism 14 for elastically pressing the landing door 10 in the door closing direction at a door closing time by engaging with the landing door 10 immediately before the car door 27 and the landing door 10 get close to the door closing position and the engagement of the car door 27 and the landing door 10 is released.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which entraining runners are correctly positioned in an entrainment setting condition, and locked without any play in both directions.
      SOLUTION: A connection mechanism 14 transmits the operation of a cage door leaf 5 to a hoistway door leaf having two parallel entraining runners 15, the entraining runners 15 are mounted on turnable adjusting elements 17.1 and 17.2, and a space therebetween can be adjusted. An elevator door driving device 2 further comprises a drive unit 18 to transmit the opening/closing operation to the cage door leaf by a driving means 9. The driving unit 9 is moved so as to guide the entraining runners 15 to a connection element 18 of the hoistway door leaf before the opening operation is started, and to separate the entraining runners 15 from the connection element 18 after the closing operation is completed. During the opening/closing operation of the door leaf, the turnable adjusting elements 17.1 and 17.2 are stopped by a catch 25 turning in both directions in the setting that the entraining runners are guided to the connection element.
