    • PURPOSE:To permit to control the temperature of using area delicately and correctly and simplify the constitution of the device by a method wherein a temperature detector, utilizing infrared rays, is provided to detect the temperature of desired area in a room and control the temperature so to achieve a set temperature. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with the temperature detector 16, detecting infrared rays coming from a predetermined area in the room, a means to keep the detector 16 in a temperature higher than the maximum value of atmospheric temperature, and a means 29, controlling a main body in accordance with the output of the temperature detector 16 while the control means 29 controls the temperature of using area so as to achieve the set temperature. Accordingly, it is not necessary to provide said area with a temperature sensor or the like or transmit a temperature signal in the form of optical signal whereby the constitution may be simplified. The temperature detector 16 is kept in a constant temperature by said means, therefore, temperature correction due to the change of ambient temperature may not be necessitated.

    • PURPOSE:To improve cooling effect, by making fin ventilation forcibly by a blower to be driven by a thermoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:When it comes to a state wherein a burner 1 is ignited and a flame 3 is formed at the top of the burner 1, a temperature at the top of a thermoelectric element 2 is raised and voltage corresponding to a temperature difference between a high temperature edge part and a low temperature edge part is generated on the thermoelectric element 2. When the generating voltage is becoming large along with a temperature rise of the thermoelectric element 2 and arrives at a certain value, a blower 10 begins to rotate and begins to suck low temperature air into an air duct 5 through an air suction port 9 on the back of a heater. The sucked low temperature air flows to a side duct 11 and is discharged indoors from a blow-off opening 13 by passing through a communicating opening 12 after heat exchange of the low temperature air with a cooling fin 4 has been made. As cooling of the fin 4 is done by a forced convection like this, a heat transmission ratio becomes large, and effective cooling is done, through which the temperature difference between the high and low temperature edge parts of the thermoelectric element 2 can be kept high and high generating voltage is obtained always.

And an infrared radiation collecting means 29 for collecting radiation and a rotational drive means 34 for rotationally driving the means 29 in association with the means 26 are provided. If a circuit or packet switching call is produced in an outgoing/incoming state, a channel use control means 21 decides whether the number of B channels used for the circuit or packet switching calls exceeds the number XL or XP or not. If so, the number of B channels used for the circuit or packet switching calls is limited.
