    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED bulb capable of enhancing color rendering property and reduction of glaring as well as widening of a light distribution angle.SOLUTION: The LED bulb 1 is provided with an LED module 2, a base body part 3 on which the LED module 2 is arranged, and a globe 4 fitted on the base body part 3. The LED module 2 is provided with ultraviolet or violet-color emitting LED chips 8 mounted on the surface 7a of the substrate 7. The globe 4 has a circular cross-sectional shape in a parallel direction with the surface of the substrate 7. Inside the inner surface of the globe 4, there is arranged a fluorescent film 9 which absorbs the ultraviolet or the violet-colored light emitted from the LED chips and emits white-colored light. The globe 4 has a shape in which a diameter D1 of a fitting part to the base body part 3 is smaller than the diameter D2 of its largest cross-sectional part.
