    • PURPOSE:To actuate a piston precisely and strongly and make its size substantially smaller, by driving the piston for extruding fluid by piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage imposed on a third piezoelectric element 9 is stopped, it contracts for lowering a vertically moving ring 7 a little. As a result, a piston 2 held by the vertically moving ring 7 is moved downwardly by a small amount corresponding to the displacement of the piezoelectric element 9. When a voltage is imposed on a first piezoelectric element 6 and then a voltage imposed on a second piezoelectric element 8 is stopped, the piston 2 is held by a cylinder 1 and released from the vertically moving ring 7. When the voltage is imposed on the third piezoelectric element 9 under the condition, the piston 2 remains stopped and only the vertically moving ring 7 returns to an upper dead point. The voltage is supplied to the second piezoelectric element 8 again at the position and the voltage imposed on the first piezoelectric element 6 is stopped for terminating a cycle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a foil part on a bearing member while positioning the foil part to retain it. SOLUTION: A gas dynamic bearing consists of the bearing member 1 on which a shaft 2 is mounted, a rotary pressure receiving part 3 provided on the shaft 2, and the foil part 4 provided therebetween. Herein, fins 51, 61 to be supported by the bearing member 1 are provided at one end portions of an under foil 5 and an upper foil 6 constituting the foil part 4. The fins 51, 61 have fin bodies 511, 611 bent toward the bearing member 1, and engaging portions 512, 612 bent further from the protruded ends of the fin bodies 511, 611. In the side of the bearing member 1, a locking hole 1x is provided which has a grooved portion 1x1 for storing the fin bodies 511, 611 and an engaged portion 1x2 extending from the front end of the grooved portion 1x1 for storing the engaging portions 512, 612.
