摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent cracks of a flame spraying layer and to enhance capability thereof remarkably by a method wherein the powdery refractory body is passed through a gas flame while a rough grained refractory body is injected from a center nozzle of a powder flame spraying device and a fine powder refractory body is injected from nozzles around said center nozzle to carry out the flame spraying. CONSTITUTION:The powder flame spraying device is equipped with an outer cylinder 1 including a flame spraying nozzle main body comprising spraying nozzle constituting bodies 2, 3 and a cooling water supplied at a cooling water inlet of a burner main body and the outer cylinder 1 is passed through a water passage 6 around the burner main body and discharged from a cooling water outlet 7. Further, a gaseous fuel from a supply pipe 9 and O2 from a supply pipe 10 are mixed at a mixing point 11 and injected from a flame port 8. The fine powder refractory body conveyed by a gas is injected from a fine powder injecting port 13 through a pipe 12. A pipe 1 is a pipe for conveying the rough grained refractory body and said rough grained refractory body conveyed by said pipe is injected to an objective article from an injection port 15.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent sprayed layer from peeling, by, in repair of damaged refractory lining of a furnace, spraying refractory material on the layer which is formed by spraying glassy material on the surface of the damaged lining. CONSTITUTION:When fire bricks 2 inside the iron shell 1 of a furnace is damaged, a sprayed layer 3 made of glassy material is formed by spraying the material on the surface of the damaged fire bricks 2. For the glassy material 3 is suitable amorphous silicate consisting of 70 - 80% SiO2, 5 - 10% Al2O3, 7 - 13% CaO, 2-8% Na2O. On the surface of the layer 3 is formed a sprayed layer 4 of refractory material. Furnace wall thus constructed undergoes scarcely crack damage at its sprayed refractory layer 4, and its service life is increased because the difference between expansion or contraction coefficients of fire bricks 2 and the sprayed refractory layer 4 is absorbed by the sprayed glassy layer 3 which is small in expansion or contraction coefficient and is viscous at high temp.

CONSTITUTION:The spent refractory which was the lining refractory on various industrial furnaces and is generated at the time of repairing and dismantling, etc., of this refractory is recovered by generation place and by chemical composition of the refractory main components and is pulverized and classified to have a specified particle size, and then the obtained powders material is dried to have a specified moisture and is stored in a storage tank by generation place, the chemical composition of the refractory main components, and the particle size. Based on a preliminarily prepared calculating formula, a chemical composition giving high corrosion resistance to an industrial furnace to be repaired is obtained and besides one or more kinds of various powdery materials stored by chemical component and particle size as above- mentioned are combined and compounded to obtain excellent fluidity and melting property as the thermal spraying material.

The alumina is easily melted because of its >=0.5m /g BET specific surface area. A reaction of the alumina with the titanous material is satisfactorily carried out to form aluminum titanate at the grain boundaries between the alumina and titania and the thermal spraying material has low expandability. Satisfactory sticking property is ensured and a dense structure of a thermally sprayed body excellent in strength and spalling resistance can be obtd.
