CONSTITUTION:A PbO-free glass compsn. for a cathode-ray tube consists of, by wt., SiO2 50-65%, AlO3 0-3%, MgO 0-6%, CaO 0-6%, SrO 0-10%, BaO 0-15%, ZrO2 5-15%, Li2O 0-3%, Na2O 5-16%, K2O 0-10%, TiO2 0-1%, CeO2 0.1-1.6% and As2O3 or Sb2O3 0.1-1.5% and satisfies SiO2+Al2O3+ ZrO2= 60-75%, MgO+CaO =15% and Li2O+Na2O+K2O= 13-20%. This glass has an X-ray absorption coefficient of 25cm or more at 0.6Angstrom wavelength and an average thermal expansion coefficient of 90-110 cm/cm. deg.C at 50-350 deg.C. Thus, superior performance is obtd. with the effective range of each component.

Which exhibits low viscosity at low temp., decreases devitrified matter growing speed, and stabilizes fiber making from molten glass.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the subject particles useful as cosmetics, coatings, etc., for preventing sunburn by mixing a mixture solution of an organosiloxane, fine ZnO particles and an organic solvent with transparent flaky particles, drying the resultant mixture while stirring the mixture and then heating the dried mixture. CONSTITUTION:With 100 pts. wt. mixture solution of an organosiloxane in an amount of 5-30 wt.% expressed in terms of SiO2, 4-15 wt.% fine ZnO particles and 60-80 wt.% organic solvent, is mixed 40-300 pts. wt. transparent flaky particles. The resultant mixture is then dried while being stirred and subsequently heated to afford the objective particles coated with a layer containing the ZnO and organosiloxane.
