    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit scale by performing a processing bringing the shape of a difference signal wavefrom analogously close to the shape of a sum signal at the time of reproducing first and second identification information areas which are arranged by being respectively displaced by a prescribed distance to an outer peripheral side and to an inner peripheral side with respect to the center of a track to make a wavefrom shaping circuit and succeeding blocks shareable both signals. SOLUTION: Polarities of the output (b) of a subtracting means 18 which receives the output of a bi-sected photodetector 135 reading first and second identification information being in an outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral side with respect to the center of a track are different around a zero level. A switching means 354 selects the one side of outputs (i)/(j) of non-inversion/inversion buffers 351/352 according to a discrimination gate signal (h) to be generated from the output (b) by a polarity changeover signal generating means 353 to make it an output (k). Since this output (k) and the output (a) of an adding means 16 become analogous waveforms in the point of the polarity, a signal changeover means 36 selects the output (a) or the output (b) according to a changeover signal (1) from a control gate generating means 25. Thus, the circuit of a waveform shaping means 37 and succeeding circuits are made shareable the outputs (a), (b).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disc medium which can be excellently reproduced by both compact disc reproducing apparatus and DVD reproducing apparatus and assures compatibility. SOLUTION: Almost identical pieces of information are recorded to a plurality of information recording layers of different kinds of parameters such as track structure, modulation system, logical format and physical format, etc., and a plurality of information recording layers are capable of realizing multilayer recording in the thickness direction of the disc so that data can be read by a plurality of optical information reproducing apparatuses in different laser wavelengths and focus distances. Moreover, an information recording layer similar to the recording format of the compact disc is formed on the substrate of almost 1.2mm and moreover the information recording layer similar to the recording format of DVD is formed in the position where the thickness is almost 0.6mm, thereby the data can be reproduced by optical information reproducing apparatuses for both compact disc and DVD.

    • PURPOSE:To perform edit without requiring the edit of sound by hand drilling by using a recording medium on which the sound is digital-recorded. CONSTITUTION:A time code 13 outputted from a film editing machine 1A is inputted to a time code signal input terminal 42, and a rotary pulse signal 12 to an external clock input terminal 40. An image can be monitored with a viewer 4 by setting a movie film 2A for edit in which the time code signal 13 is recorded at the rotary driving part of the film editing machine 1A. When the movie film 2A for edit is fed, an audio signal part on which the same time code signal is attached is reproduced corresponding to the cycle of the rotary pulse signal 12, and the time code of the audio signal and identification informa tion are displayed on the monitor 23 of a console, and it is recognized which part of what kind of sound is being reproduced at a glance. Thus, since the same address code corresponding to the film is attached on the audio signal, the deterioration of sound quality due to damage can be evaded.
