    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid grain erosion resistant surface treatment film in which solid grain erosion resistance can be remarkably improved, and which is provided with oxidation resistance without reducing the fatigue strength even to a rotary member, and to provide a rotary machine such as a steam turbine and an axial flow compressor obtained by applying the same.
      SOLUTION: The solid grain erosion resistant surface treatment film comprises a nitrided hard layer formed on a surface of a base material; one or more physical vapor-deposited hard layers formed on the surface of the nitrided hard layer by a physical vapor deposition method. The thickness of the nitrided hard layer is controlled to ≥30 μm, and also, the total thickness of the physical vapor-deposited hard film is controlled to ≥10 μm. In this way, the deformation of the base material at the time of the collision with solid grains and the cracking of the film comprising the nitrided hard layer and the physical vapor-deposited hard layers as the upper layers of the base material are prevented, and its solid grain erosion resistance is secured, thus the increase of the service life in the solid grain erosion resistant surface treatment film is made possible, and also, its oxidation resistance and fatigue strength are improved.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a hot dip galvanizing steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance and press-formability by spraying non-metallic inorganic particles on zinc surface of the steel sheet under molten state and mixing the above particles into the zinc plating layer. CONSTITUTION:By dipping the steel sheet 1 into the molten zinc 3 in a pot 8, the zinc is stuck and advancing direction thereof is changed upward with a sink roll 2 and drawn up. The stuck rate of zinc on this steel sheet 1 is adjusted with a gas wiping device 4. Just after that and just when the molten state changes into the zinc plating layer, the non-metallic inorganic particles 5 of SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2, etc., having about 0.1-0.5mum particle diameter are sprayed on the steel sheet 1 from a spraying nozzle 10. By this method, the particles 5 are dispersed in the hot dip galvanizing layer. Then, the steel sheet 1 is heated, held in a heating furnace 9 and alloyed. By barrier effect with dispersed particles, the corrosion resistance of the hot dip galvannealing layer is improved, and powdering property and, further, press-formability are remarkably improved.
