    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a commutation mistake due to the variation in an ignition angle by generating an inigiton signal, based on a zero-cross signal, and feeding it to the thirstier of a thyristor converter. SOLUTION: In a control device, a low-pass filter 15 is added to the pre-stage of a zero-cross detection circuit 12 as the component of a control unit 14, and the input AC voltage of the thyristor converter is detected by a transformer 11 for measuring instrument and is inputted to the low-pass filter 15 of the control unit 14. Then, odd low-order harmonics are eliminated from a detected AC voltage, the AC voltage is inputted to the zero-cross detection circuit 12 and the zero-cross point of an AC voltage being detected by the transformer 11 for measuring instrument is detected, and the zero-cross signal is inputted to an ignition signal generation circuit 13. Then, an ignition signal is generated, based on the zero-cross signa and is given to the thyristor of a thyristor bridge 1. As a result, commutation failure due to the variation in an ignition angle can be prevented by operating the thyristor converter stably.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a rotor free from aging by welding a laminate consisting of silicon steel plates laminated coaxially with a rotation shaft, the rotation shaft, and the salient poles of the laminate integrally and filling the recessed parts of the laminate with resin to make the cross section circular. CONSTITUTION:A rotor comprises a laminate (iron core) 22 and a shaft 11. The laminate 22 consists of silicon steel plates laminated coaxially with the shaft 11. The shaft 11 and the laminate 22 are welded at welding points 13. Salient poles are welded integrally. The recessed parts of the laminate 22 are filled with resin to make the cross section circular. That is, a cylinder is made of the laminate 22 and the resin. Thereby the rotor has good characteristics because it has no anisotropic bolt and is free from windage loss because it has no uneven section and the resin packed in the recesses of the rotor prevents delamination of the laminate.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive additive for fuel which can improve the combustibility of a low-quality fuel derived from petroleum and which comprises ultrafine iron oxide. CONSTITUTION:An additive for fuel comprising iron oxide having such a particle diameter distribution that 80% or more of the particles have a diameter of 1mu or less. The use of the ultrafine particles of iron oxide as an additive for fuel can solve the problems accompanying the conventional iron oxide, such as poor dispersion in an oil, lowering in combustion promoting effect, lowering in NOx-reducing properties, lowering in properties on the reforming of dust of an exhaust gas, occurrence of sedimentation within a feed pipe, and wearing of the parts of a feed pump. When the additive having a particle diameter of 1mu or less is added to water or fuel, and the mixture is sufficiently stirred and allowed to stand, Brownian movement does not occur. Therefore, the additive does not settle down at the bottom, which enables a uniform distribution in a liquid for a long period of time, thereby attaining the above object.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate a fear of unpleasant feeling being given a user, by a method wherein during cooling, the number of revolutions of a compressor is controlled so that a value is adjusted to a pressure between the motion pressure and the return pressure of a low pressure switch, and during heating, the number of revolutions of the compressor is controlled so that a value is regulated to a pressure between the motion pressure and the return pressure of a high pressure switch.
      CONSTITUTION: When a high pressure switch 41 located on a delivery piping 12, through which high pressure gas coolant flows, is turned ON, the generating frequency of an inverter 2 is reduced by a given amount, and when the switch is returned to an OFF-state, the generating frequency of the inverter 2 is increased by a given amount. When a low pressure switch 42, located on a suction piping 16, through which low pressure gas coolant flows, is turned ON, the generating frequency of the inverter 2 is decreased by a given amount, and when returned to an OFF-state, the generating frequency of the inverter 2 is increased by a given amount. The high pressure switch 41 is in an OFF-state when a detecting output P is lower than a set pressure P1, and when the detecting output P is increased to the set pressure P1, the switch is turned ON. When the switch is brought to an ON-state once, even when the detecting output P is decreased to lower than the set pressure P1, an ON-state is held until the detecting pressure is decreased to a return pressure P2, and when the detecting pressure P is decreased to the returning pressure P2, the switch is changed over to an OFF- state.
