摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the oxide superconducting thin film having a high critical current density by using a target added with Ag in the enough amt. to deposit a Y-Ba-Cu-O-based oxide superconducting thin film having a specified content of Ag to produce the thin film by sputtering. CONSTITUTION:A target added with Ag in the enough amt. to deposit a Y-Ba- Cu-O-based oxide superconducting thin film contg. 0.2-10atom% Ag is used to produce the Y-Ba-Cu-O-based oxide superconducting thin film by sputtering. Since a specified amt. of Ag is added to the superconducting thin film in this method, the critical current density is elevated in either a single crystal thin film or a polycrystal thin film, and the density is not significantly decreased by the effect of a magnetic field. Furthermore, the density is not practically increased at 10atom% Ag, and the superconductivity is deteriorated as compared with the case where Ag is not added, then it is selected within a 0.2-10atom% Ag range.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the speed of electric discharge machining, lessen adhesion to work pieces and give excellent wire drawing processability and high temperature strength by forming the electrode wire for wire electric discharge machining with Cu alloy containing rare earth metal oxide by 0.01 to 2 percent by weight and Zn by 30 to 50 percent by weight. CONSTITUTION:A rare earth metal oxide is let contained in Cu alloy by 0.01 to 2 percent by weight. This improves the discharge characteristic of the electrode for wire electric discharge machining. Furthermore, the content of Zn in Cu alloy is set more than 30% by weight and less than 50% by weight. As the result, the machining speed of the electrode can be heightened, its adhesion to work pieces can be lessened, and excellent wire drawing processability and high temperature strength can be given.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make ceramics superconductor whose critical temperature is high into a wire rod, by extruding powder of a specific functional oxide under a heating condition. CONSTITUTION:At least a kind of an element selected out of periodic table group Ia, IIa, IIIa elements constituting mixed powder 8 of functional oxides is made A. At least a kind of an element selected out group Ib, IIb, IIIb elements of the periodic table and oxygen are made B and C respectively. A ceramics superconductor in composition shown by a general formula AaBbCc (provided that a, b, c show ratios of respective constituent elements) is made into a wire rod by extruding and processing the same under a state where the same is heated at about 800 deg.C or higher. This extrusion is performed by heating due to friction heat and extrusion force due to friction force and an extruded long-sized body 8c of a functional oxide is heat-treated. Therefore, a long-sized body 10 of a functional oxide is joined to a metallic block cable 11 with solder by a method wherein the long-sized body 8c is made a solid solution of the oxide having perovskite structure, which is fed into a solder 12 tank along with the said cable 11 becoming a stabilizing material and it is pulled up.

CONSTITUTION:Superconductive wires 1, and Al wires 3 or the like are fed continuously to a chemical vapor deposition reactor, H2 gas and CH4 gas are fed to the reactor, and a radio wave is applied while heating the superconductive wires 1 and the Al wires 3 to generate a plasma, so as to form an insulating layer 2 of diamond membrane along the whole length of the wires. Then, four lines of the superconductive wires and three lines of the Al wires are twisted into a primary twisted wire. Finally, seven lines of the primary twisted wires are twisted to manufacture a cable.

A coating layer of an org. substance such as polyimide is further formed as required. The resulting ceramic coated member is applicable to machine parts or electrical parts requiring such characteristics as chemical durability, wear and heat resistance.
