Therefore, siphonage works promptly and time required for washing can be shortened while maximum flow rate required for siphonage can be reduced, resulting in saving of washing water consumption.

CONSTITUTION:A male type connector 44 is mounted at the tip of a lead 42 for connecting a solenoid valve led out from a sensor 40, and a female type connector 50 is set up at the tip of a lead 48 for connecting the sensor led out from a valve 46 such as the solenoid valve. The female type connector 52 of a junction cable 56, in which the female type connector 52 and a VA connector 54 are installed at both ends, is connected to the male type connector 44 of the lead 42. The male type connector 58 of a cable 62, in which said male type connector 58 and a VA connector 60 are mounted at both ends, is connected to the female type connector 50 of the lead 48. These VA connectors 54, 60 are bonded by a VA cable 64. Cable conductors 64a, 64b are exposed at both ends of the VA cable 64, and the cable conductors 64a, 64b are inserted to the VA connectors 54, 60. Accordingly, even when a distance between the valve and the sensor is varied, both valve and sensor can be connected easily and without generating waste in the cable.

    • PURPOSE:To obviate the need for a cable between a controller and a sensor, enhance the maintenance performance and keep the appearance of the sensor- installed area nicely. CONSTITUTION:User detection sensors 3 and 4 are mounted to an upper part wall surface of urinals 1 and 2 in a urinal chamber. A detection signal transmitted from the sensors 3 and 4 drives a solenoid flush valve 5 while a controller (control panel) 6 outputs microwaves, discharging clean water in an automatic mode. The output microwaves are used as a power source of the sensors 3 and 4. On the other hand, the direction signal from the sensors 3 and 4 is output in the shape of radio waves and received by the control panel 6. This construction makes it possible to eliminate the need for a cable between the sensors 3 and 4 and the control panel 6 and enhance the maintenance performance of the sensors and keep a good opperance of the installation area.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive the promotion of water saving by suspending a job for regular flushing in the case where the human body is detected in front of a urinal by a body detector again during the regular flushing, while omitting the next stand-by flushing and performing the regular flushing furthermore after the human body disappears. CONSTITUTION:A urinal 42 is provided with a feedwater pipe 44, a feedwater control system 46, a body detecting sensor 50, a control circuit-cum- microcomputer 52 and a valve 54. Next, when the human body is detected, this valve 54 is opened and wash water is fed to the urinal 42, and when the human body goes away or the specified time elapses as continuing detection with the sensor 50, the valve 54 is closed, thus stand-by flushing is terminated. After the human body went off, the valve 54 is opened, starting the regular flushing, and when the next user appears, the valve 54 is closed, finishing the regular flushing, while the regular flushing is performed after the human body has gone away. With this constitution, a sufficient flushing effect is securable simultaneously with the promotion of water saving.
