    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of smoothly moving a step treads by reducing contact of a side face of a traveling wheel with a restriction wall of a guide rail.
      SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor 1 comprises a plurality of step treads 3; wheel shafts 12 projecting rightward and leftward from both ends in a width direction of the step treads; right and left traveling wheels 14 journaled by the wheel shafts 12; step tread chains 4 connecting a plurality of the step treads 3 with circulating/moving between both of step floors 6 and 7; and a guide rail 15 having a restriction wall 15b restricting meandering of the traveling wheel 14 and a traveling path 15a of the traveling wheel 14, and formed in a planar linear form. An interval between the traveling wheels 14 relative to the restriction wall 15b of the guide rail 15 is varied between the adjacent step treads.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator device causing no hesitation in boarding at descending operation time even if an inclination steeply inclines.
      SOLUTION: This escalator device has a main frame 3 straddlingly arranged on an upper story floor 1U and a lower story floor 1D, and endlessly connected footsteps 11 for circularly moving between a forward passage and a backward passage arranged in this main frame 3, and circularly moves the footsteps 11 in 30 m/min or more at ascending operation time, and circularly moves the footsteps 11 in less than 30 m/min at descending operation time by setting an installing angle of the main frame 3 to 35 degrees.
