    • PURPOSE:To enable parts to be easily replenished and to enable the components which are aligned once not to be disturbed by a method wherein an air jetting means which advances chip electronic components into a component aligning slot one by one and a delivery path which guides the component which passes through the component aligning slot to a prescribed unloading position are provided. CONSTITUTION:A block 11' is provided to the lower part of a case 11, the upside of the block 11' forms a tapered space cooperating with a baffle plate 23, and a component aligning chamber 22' is formed under the baffle plate 23. An air introducing hole 19 whose one end is opened outside is provided to the lower part of the block 11', and an air jet nozzle 12 is provided confronting the hole 19. Chip electronic components are put in the case 11 and compressed air is intermittently supplied into the case 11 through the jet nozzle 11. The compressed air reaches to the component aligning chamber 22' through the air introducing hole 19 via an air path 19' and stirs up the components. At this point, only the required number of the electronic components drop into the part aligning chamber 22' passing under the baffle plate 23 as controlled by the baffle plate 23, so that the electronic components can fully be changed in position and delivered to a position 24' correspondent to the position of a suction nozzle passing through a component aligning slot 22.

    • PURPOSE:To make an outer diameter small by forming the winding start section at the tip of the first lap in a wedge shape consisting of a circular arc curve with the diameter of a lap tooth space and involute curves and forming the second lap winding start section in a bulb shape consisting of a rugged circular arc curve in no contact with the first lap and an involute curve. CONSTITUTION:The winding start section at the tip of the first lap 1b of a fixed scroll 1 is formed in a wedge shape with a circular arc curve with the diameter of the first lap tooth space and inside and outside involute curves. The winding start section at the tip of the second lap 2b of a revolving scroll 2 is formed in a bulb shape with a rugged circular arc curve in no contact and interference with the first lap 1b and an involute curve. The interference between both laps 1b and 2b is prevented. An inclined section 2fc with different thickness is provided on the bulb section 2f of the revolving scroll 2, the flow path area to the innermost chamber 52 is expanded, and the discharge action is smoothly performed. The outer diameter can be made small according to this constitution, and performance is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently produce ultrafine particles by disposing the 1st electrode for arc discharge to face a base material and disposing the 2nd electrode for arc discharge at the angle different from the angle between said electrode and the base material at the time of producing ultrafine particles by an arc heat. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a chamber 1 is evacuated and a prescribed gas is sealed therein to about 1MPa. Electric current is supplied from an electrode 10 to generate a gaseous tungsten arc from the 1st electrode 4 for arc discharged and a gaseous plasma arc from the 2nd electrode 5 for arc discharge so that the arc 6 having the prescribed shape is formed. The gaseous plasma arc from the 2nd electrode 5 has no deflection of the arc by electromagnetic force as the current density is large. The base material 3 is thus efficiently heated and melted to form the ultrafine particles. The gaseous tungsten arc from the 1st electrode 4 deflect largely and therefore, the generated ultrafine particles are quickly conveyed in the specified direction. The ultrafine particles are thereby introduced into as conveying pipe 7. Since the arc is generated between the two electrodes 4 and 5, the ultrafine particles are obtainable even with a nonconductive material.

    • PURPOSE:To stably and efficiently capture ultrafine particles by disposing a bar-shaped raw material for the ultrafine particles and electrode at a prescribed angle, generating an arc contg. the ultrafine particles between both and blowing a carrier gas to the arc. CONSTITUTION:The bar-shaped raw material 3 (anode) for the ultrafine particles and the electrode 4 (cathode) are disposed to have 15-50 deg. angle in a chamber 1. After the inside of a chamber 1 is evacuated to a vacuum, a prescribed pressure is maintained therein by an inert gas. A prescribed voltage and current are impressed between the base material 3 and the electrode 4 to generate the arc 5. The ultrafine particles are contained in the arc and the carrier gas 7 is blown from a nozzle 6 to the arc to convey, cool and capture the ultrafine particles into a capturing chamber 8. The material 3 is rotated by revolving rollers 11 in this stage and the arc voltage is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 12. The detected voltage is compared with the voltage of a reference voltage detecting circuit 13 in a comparator 14. A base material feed part 15 is operated by the differential voltage thereof to feed the material 3 in the arc direction until the differential voltage is made zero. The ultrafine particle are thereby formed always under the same conditions.

    • PURPOSE:To produce efficiently ultrafine metallic particles in the stage of generating an arc between a base metal for evaporation and an electrode to form the ultrafine particles by making the current value to be passed as arc current smaller than the specific current value. CONSTITUTION:The base metal is evaporated in gaseous hydrogen or non- oxidizing hydrogen-contg. compd. or the gaseous mixture composed thereof or the gaseous mixture composed of such gas and inert gas and the arc is generated between the base metal and the electrode, by which the ultrafine particles are produced. The current smaller than the current value at which the arc begins to change from the shape diverging from the electrode to the base metal to the shape concentrating to the local part on the base metal as designated as IA is passed as the arc current. The current value IA in this case is IA=aL+b and L is the distance between the base metal and the electrode (mm.), (a), (b) are the values which vary mainly with the compsn. of the gaseous atmosphere, the compsn. of the base metal, the compsn., shape and diameter of the electrode, the flow rate of a shielding gas, atmospheric pressure, etc. and are the values within a 30A/mm.>=a>=2A/mm., 200A/mm.>=b>=0 range.
