A phosphorus content in the phosphorus-containing copper alloy particles is preferably 2 mass% to 14 mass%. Further it is preferable to contain tin-containing particles or silver particles. A semiconductor device contains a structure in which a semiconductor element selected from a silicone, silicon carbide and gallium nitride, and a support material for loading in semiconductor element are adhered through the adhesive composition.

If roughness exists on the surface to be polished, since effective polishing load at a protruding part is larger than a recessed part, the protruding part is selectively polished to accomplish making global planarity with less dependency on a pattern.
