SOLUTION: The suspension control device includes a front wheel stabilizer SBf and a rear wheel stabilizer SBr, and the stabilizer controlling means FT changes in control the torsional rigidity of only the front wheel stabilizer. A revolution judging means judges the revolving condition of the vehicle, and on the basis of the result from judging, the stabilizer controlling means is adjusted so that the torsional rigidity of the front wheel stabilizer becomes greater as the revolving condition enlarges.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust rollover resistance and maneuvering stability of a vehicle according to the state of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a vehicle steer characteristic control means SC for controlling lateral force for at least a wheel of the vehicle VH to control a steering characteristic of the vehicle VH and a vehicle stability control means VS for maintaining stability of the vehicle VH by at least one of reduction of driving force of the vehicle VH and imparting of braking force for each wheel. When a rollover tendency of the vehicle VH is detected, the vehicle steer characteristic control means SC controls the lateral force for at least a wheel of the vehicle VH in a reducing direction. As a result, a degree of oversteer or understeer is increased in the steering characteristic of the vehicle VH. The lateral force for the wheel may be constituted to be reduced and controlled by the vehicle steer characteristic control means SC till starting a control by the vehicle stability control means VS.
