    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder heating/cooling system in which yield is improved, the scale and investment of facility are reduced, and maintenance cost thereafter is low, risk is low, and which optimally heats/cools powder in accordance with a type of powder, recording medium, etc.
      SOLUTION: The system includes: a conveyance means 25 which forms a nip N by the contact of a heat endless belt 10 and a pressure endless belt 20 (a pair of rotary conveying members); a heating means 15 which heats particle 26 conveyed through the nip; and a cooling means 17 which cools powder after heated by the heating means 16. In such a powder heating/cooling system, a cooling means is composed of, for instance, a cooling body. The movable cooling body 18 is moved close to or away from the heat endless belt 10. In addition, the degree of cooling the powder by the cooling means can be altered by turning the cooling body to change the length of the face opposing the rotary conveying member or by adjusting the flow rate of a cooling medium flowing in the cooling body being a heat pipe.
