    • PURPOSE:To enable cooking of polished rice in high thermal efficiency without generating scorches, by filling and sealing preheated and precooked rice together with water in a preheated heat-insulation pot and keeping the rice in the state for a required period to effect adiabatic cooking of the rice, thereby gelatinizing the polished rice. CONSTITUTION:Polished rice is preheated together with a proper amount of water (about 1.2pts. of water per 1pt. of rice for ordinary cooked rice and about 4.5pts. for gruel) or polished rice and a proper amount of water are separately heated to effect the precooking of the food raw material. Separately, a pot is preheated e.g. by filling the pot with hot water. The precooked food material is filled and sealed in the preheated heat-insulated pot and maintained in the state for a definite period to effect the adiabatic cooking and obtain cooked polished rice. The sum of the heat quantity applied to the food material during the precooking stage and the heat quantity applied to the pot in the preheating stage of the pot is made to be sufficient to gelatinize the polished rice in the adiabatic cooking stage.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the boiling of liquid accurately, by converting vibration generated by a rise in the temperature of the liquid into an electrical signal to detect a displacement point at which the voltage corresponding to the signal changes to a low level from a higher level than a reference voltage corresponding to the boiling of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A detector is made up of a vibration sensor 3,a reference voltage setting means 5, a discriminator 6 and the like. An electric heater 2 is mounted at a lower part of the side wall of a container 1 while the sensor 3 is placed on the bottom thereof. For example, water W is put into the container 1 and while the water is being heated, a vibration generated by a rise in the temperature is converted into an electrical signal with the sensor 3 and detected through an amplifier 4. On the other hand, any voltage between the output voltage at which a liquid reaches the boiling point and the output voltage at which a balance level is reached is set as a reference voltage V0 by the means 5 beforehand. The discriminator 6 is used to detect the displacement point at which the voltage corresponding to the vibration level detected by the sensor 3 changes to a lower level from a higher level than the reference voltage V0 to detect the complete boiling.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the titled bottle having its lower mouth at an arbitrary position while using ordinary bulbs by putting an inner bottle in an outer bottle at a uniform interval, stopping up the top opening between the bottles, heating the desired lower part from the inside and outside to melt-bond the bottles together, and piercing a hole in the melt-bonded part. CONSTITUTION:In a stage H, by a method for manufacturing an ordinary double vacuum bottle, the upper half 14 of an outer bottle 1a is joined to the lower half 15 to form a united outer bottle 1a, and the top opening between the bottle 1a and an inner bottle 1b is stopped up. In a stage I, the desired position (the center of the bottom in the figure) of the resulting double bottle is heated from the inside and outside with burners 17. In a stage J, the bottle 1b is recessed 19 at the heated part by pressing with a jig 18 so that the bottle 1b is melt-bonded to the bottle 1a. In a stage K, a hole is pierced in the melt-bonded part by blowing compressed air on the outside of the part from a pipe 20 while heating the part from the inside, and the bottles 1a, 1b are sealed. Slow cooling and evacuation are then carried out by a conventional method to obtain a double-mouthed vacuum bottle.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a two-mouthed double wall Dewar bottle causing little leakage of heat and capable of discharging the liquid contained therein by evacuating the space between the internal bottle and the external bottle and providing an opening part having an evacuated space at the top of the bottle and a discharge port having an evacuated space at the shoulder part of the bottle.
      CONSTITUTION: An internal bottle 1a and an external bottle 1b each having a barrel part 2a, 2b; shoulder part 3a, 3b; neck part 4a, 4b; and discharge port 6a, 6b, are combined by interposing a specified space 9. The top ends of the neck part 4a and 4b are joined to each other at the joining part 10 forming an opening part 5, and the top ends of the discharge port 6a and 6b are joined at the joining part 11 to each other forming a discharge port 7, constructing thus a two-mounthed double wall Dewar bottle. (12 in the drawing is an evacuating pipe part.) The liquid to be contained in this bottle and is desired to be kept warm is poured from the opening part 5 and is used by discharging from the discharge port 7. It is only necessary to open or close the discharge port 7 in the stage of discharging the contained liquid, the leakage of heat is quite little because the diameter of the discharge port is small and the structure thereof is double walled.
