    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a container from damage in the carrying of the container by bringing a pressing rod for pressing a group of containers loaded on a conveying path with the upright attitude to the downstream side, into contact with a barrel portion of the container of the last row of the group of containers, and planely forming the pressing face to be contacted with the barrel portion. SOLUTION: When a container 7 is to be packaged with a carton 8 conveyed by a conveyor 6, the container 7 is loaded on a horizontal supporting plate 1 as a conveying path with the upright attitude, and pressed to the downstream side by a pressing rod 2. On this occasion, the pressing rod 2 comprises a main body portion 2a made of a rod body having the rectangular cross section extending in the width direction and a shaft portion 2b penetrated through the main body portion, and a plane on the rectangular cross section of the main body portion 2a is used as a pressing face 21 to be contacted with the barrel portion of the container 7. The shaft portion 2b is located higher than the center of gravity of the main body portion 2a, so that the main body portion 2a can be relatively rotated on the shaft portion 2b. Thereby the contact area of the pressing face 21 to the barrel, portion of the container 7 is increased to disperse the pressing force, and the container 7 can be prevented from damaged.

SOLUTION: A junction conveyor means A2 is continuously installed in the upstream of a sorting conveyor means B while a charging conveyor means A1 is further continued to the upstream, and a conveying speed by the junction conveyor means A2 is set to more than the traveling speed of a braking means but so slower than the conveying speed of the charging conveyor means A1 . When a specified clearance is produced in space between commodities existing at the downstream end of the junction conveyor means A2 and those existing at the upstream end of the sorting conveyor means B, there is such a case that the junction conveyor means A2 may be started.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten accumulating time by providing a device with a control means controlling a moving means so that a first supporting piece may move from a prescribed location in response to a detection output of a detection means and a second supporting piece may move up to the prescribed location within fixed time intervals. SOLUTION: Sheet bodies S are fed one by one to a first supporting piece 12a at a prescribed location by a feeding means 2 at fixed time intervals. As a result, the sheet bodies S are accumulated in the first supporting piece 12a. When the fed sheet bodies S become a prescribed number of sheets, the effect is detected by a detection means 3. Further, the first supporting piece 12a moves from the prescribed location in response to a detection output of a detection means 4 by the control of a moving means 1 by a control means 4 and a second supporting piece 12b moves to the prescribed location within fixed time intervals. In this state, next sheet bodies S are accumulated in the second supporting piece 12b in the same way as the first supporting piece 12a. Thus, time required for the preparation of the next accumulation can be shortened.
