    • PURPOSE: To form a means for automatically circulate gas between first and second volumes when high intensity breaking current reaches the specified threshold value, use a semi-fixed contact as a pipe for communicating with a third volume, and circulate gas so as to enhance the dielectric quality of gas when the breaking current reaches the upper limit value. CONSTITUTION: When current intensity is higher than a threshold value, while current is maximum, a semi-fixed contact 4 and a piston 8 are moved upward by pressure increase within a volume V1, the piston jumps over an opening 13, the volume V1 communicates with a volume V2. At that time, the pressure in the Volume V1 is higher than that in the volume V2, and a valve 20 is closed. When current is decreased toward zero, pressure in the volume V1 is decreased, the piston 8 is moved downward, the volume V2 is separated from the volume V1. When the pressure in the volume V1 is lowered than that in the volume V2, the valve 20 is opened, gas in the volume V2 is transferred to the volume V1, and gas is contributed to splay to an arc. Since hot gas in the volume V2 goes in from the opening 13 and goes out of the valve 20, gas is circulated.

    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to guide the position and/or the speed of a vehicle and simultaneously, to obtain a correct guiding in the lateral direction especially needed for a public transport vehicle by making a magnetic field generating means so as to be constituted of a waveguide connected to the electromagnetic radiation generator having a specific frequency in order to measure the deviation in the lateral direction with respect to the central line of a roadway. CONSTITUTION: A waveguide 1 is buried under the central line of a roadway for running of vehicles and coils 2, 3 provided with magnetic cores 4, 5 are vertically mounted on a vehicle passing over the roadway to be tuned to the radiation frequency (which is relatively low) to be generated from the waveguide 1. One end of the waveguide 1 is connected to the sine wave generator having frequencies 1-100kHz radiating electric power by a connection and the other end of the waveguide 1 is connected to a return line, which forms an extremely relaxed loop so that electric power is not radiated from the loop. Thus, the deviation of the axial line of the vehicle with respect to the central line of the roadway is detected by measuring induced voltages of terminals of the coils.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the rigidity of a bearing support by locking a plurality of the rods to be radially expanded from a bearing to support a turbine rotor to a concrete wall. CONSTITUTION: A turbine rotor 10 is supported by a bearing 3 arranged on a suction part 6 side and a bearing 7 arranged inside an axial flow exhaust part 1. The bearing 3 is supported by a concrete stand 4 located on a concrete base plate 5, while the bearing 7 is supported by four radial tie rods 12 arranged in an upright plane orthogonal to the axis of the rotor 10. The tie rods 12 are locked to the thickness of a concrete wall 21 integrated with the base plate 5 around a semi-circular bisected part 22 of an end part opposite to the bearing 7. Since the force from the bearing 7 is not transmitted through a stator 2 or the exhaust part 1, the rotor can withstand a very large incidental out-of- balance force, the integrity in the support of the rotor 10 can be maintained, and the rigidity is increased.
