    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified wind tunnel device that facilitates dismantling, assembling and conveying. SOLUTION: The vertical wind tunnel device includes an air introduction part, a first flow straightening part, a flow contraction part, a transparent cylindrical visualization test part, a second flow straightening part, and an air flow generation part. The device is formed by piling and bonding in the vertical direction, each part constituted separably and bondably. The visualization test part has a cylindrical shape, so that disturbance is hardly generated from an inner wall of the wind tunnel. Also, the device is installed vertically so as to make air flow in the vertical downward direction, thereby deviation between a tracer locus and a streamline of the air flow can be suppressed minimally. Further, the device can be assembled, dismantled and operated very easily, so that it is most suitable for an experimental device used in a physical/chemical education field for school students.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for separating and recovering VOC, which can realize complete treatment not involving the occurrence of secondary waste after the separation and recovery of VOC, and a method for separating and recovering the VOC.
      SOLUTION: VOC contained in contaminated underground water is extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide. Thereafter, the step of extracting VOC using carbon dioxide and water alternately as an extraction medium is repeated under two conditions which have rendered the equilibrium constant of an aqueous VOC solution-pressurized carbon dioxide system significantly different. The repetition of this step can realize the concentration of VOC corresponding to the equilibrium constant difference, and, finally, a substantially 100% VOC phase can be separated. Accordingly, VOC can be recovered at low cost without use of any additional constitution such as an adsorbent.

      SOLUTION: The transfer supporting apparatus 10 is equipped with a base 11, a support base 12 mounted on the base horizontally rotatable, a slide base 14 slidable with respect to the support base 12, a strut 21 mounted so as to be freely tilted on the support base, a body support device 23 mounted on the front end of the strut, and a driving means 31 for tilting the support. The gravity position including the user is controlled by adjusting the extending and contracting amount of the slide base 14. When the user leans the upper body against the body support device 23 such that the upper body hangs over the body support device and presses a button of an operation section 34, a wire 41 is wound and the strut 21 is tilted in the standing direction to raise the user.
