    • PURPOSE:To simplify the clearance work for a reactor building of which part of upper structure is constructed underground and structured aseismically and avoid the flexible joint between a containment and the periphery of the building. CONSTITUTION:The building is constituted of a lower structure 1 consisting of a lower basemat 11 constructed underground and located below a containment 21 and a lower peripheral part 12 surrounding the lower side around the containment 21, and an upper structure 2 consisting of the containment 21 which is constructed above the lower structure 1 insulated from it and part of which is constructed underground, and upper peripheral parts 22 surrounding the upper side around it. Between the lower basemat 11 and the containment 21, and between the lower periphery 12 and the upper periphery 22, an aseismic device 3 is placed so that the upper structure 2 is aseismically structured. As the lower side of the containment 21 is arranged in inner side of the lower periphery 12, the clearance work around the upper structure 2 is simplified. And as the containment 21 belongs to the upper structure 2, placing a flexible joint between the containment 21 and the upper periphery 22 is avoided.

    • PURPOSE:To mitigate seismic response of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel system and to improve a seismicity of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel system by utilizing friction force between a cylindrical body and rod, derived from an elastoplastic deformation of a plurality of cylindrical bodies which fit each other. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion mechanism of vibration energy which is installed between a gusset side wall 7 of a rod 9 and a sleeve 11 is constituted of a friction sleeve 31 consisting of a pair of metallic cylinders which fit so as to be able to slide each other, and a tapered cylinder 32 for bearing planar pressure load. In case that seismic input is received, relational changing occurs between the rod 9 which is fastened to a yoke 8, and the gusset side wall 7, and therewith a belleville spring 10 extends or shrinks, and one end where the slit 33 of the sleeve 31 is formed, deforms elastically by change of fitting degree of the cylinder 32 and the sleeve 31, and finally friction force between the rod 9 and the sleeve 31 changes, too. By this friction force, the vibration energy is dispersed and therefore seismic response of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel 2 is much mitigated.
