    • PURPOSE:To achieve a higher reliability with a reduction in pulsation rate by a method wherein a three-lobe gear is interposed between two-lobe gears the same in shape and size and they are meshed so that rotary motions of the gears synchronize one another alternately to make paths for inflow and outflow communicate with weighing chambers. CONSTITUTION:It is so arranged that two-lobe gears 42 and 43 always contact a three-lobe gear 41 and weighing chambers 61-63 are made to communicate with one another. When a fluid to be measured flows into weighing chambers 62 and 63 at flow rates Q11 and Q12 as indicated by the arrow, a pressure P1 works as torque equal pertaining to an axis o2 of the gear 42 on the side of a passage 21 and a rotary torque works on the side A of a weighing chamber 61 clockwise in a direction of the arrow omega1 pertaining to the gear 41. As the gear 42 is meshed with the gear 41, it is driven to rotate counterclockwise in the direction of the arrow omega2. On the other hand, between the gear 41 and the gear 43, a rotary torque is generated counterclockwise in the direction of the arrow omega3 in a left half of the gear 41. Thus, receiving the rotary torque, the fluid is made to flow out as flow rate Q22+Q21 from the outflow paths 22 and 220.

    • PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a bearing and to maintain the accuracy of the flowmeter for a long period by protecting the bearing against foreign matter such as dust in a flowmeter through filters provided on balance holes. CONSTITUTION:The filters 22 are provided on the balance holes 21 and 22 on the sides of side houses A and B. The filters 22 are formed of alloy in a screw-in plug shape; a filter main body 23, a screw part 24, and a passage 25 which is equal in diameter to the balance holes 21 are provided and the filters are engaged threadably with the screw parts 4a and 5a of side plates 4 and 5 with a screw part 24. The filters 2 can use porous fine sintered alloy filters, ceramic filters, etc. Therefore, when the liquid to be metered passes through the filter main body 23 from the passage 25 as shown by an arrow, the foreign matter is caught by the porous tissue system of the filter main body 23 and inhibited from flowing out to the side houses A and B. Consequently, the bearings 13 and 14 are protected against the entry of the foreign matter such as dust.

    • PURPOSE:To measure a flow rate more finely by providing a couple of rotors, annular magnets embedded in the rotors, a detecting means, an arithmetic means, etc. CONSTITUTION:Fluid flows in a metering chamber from an intake passage to rotate the couple of rotors 4 and 5 at a rotating speed corresponding to its flow rate, and then flows out to an outlet passage. The rotation of the rotor 4 is detected by a magnetoresistance element 19 as a detecting means which is incorporated in a lid. Namely, the element 19 is provided nearby the magnet 12 formed in the rotor 4 by insertion and while the rotor 4 makes one rotation, the pulses as many as magnetic poles magnetized in the magnet 12 are outputted. Thus, the pulses outputted by the element 19 become irregular in pulse intervals as the rotors 4 and 5 rotate irregularly and are supplied to a control circuit 22. A control circuit 22 as the arithmetic means which inputs the signal calculates the flow rate, flow velocity value, and instantaneous flow rate, which are displayed 25, 28, and 29. Then the control circuit 22 measures the flow rate more finely because the element 19 outputs more signals per rotation of the rotor 4 than before.
