    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost positively find a failure of a detector provided in a vehicle in order to obtain a criterion value for use in regulating and controlling oscillation of an axle. SOLUTION: In the control device, when either of lateral G and the rate ΔY of change of yaw rate of a vehicle, calculated using the respective detected values θ, V of a tire angle sensor 21 and a car-speed sensor 22, is above a set value, a controller 28 shuts off a solenoid change-over valve 14 of a damper 13 to lock a rear axle 10 swingably mounted on car-body frame. Further, the controller 28 makes failure-diagnosis of the tire angle sensor 21. The correspondence-relations between the tire angular speed Δθ and the handle angular speed ΔH calculated based on the respective detected values θ, h of the tire angle sensor 21 and a handle angle sensor 25 are compared with each other, and when ΔH>0 and Δθ=0 are established, the tire angle sensor 21 is judged to be failed out. Furthermore, when a detected value (input voltage) θis outside the range of detected values at normal times, the tire angle sensor 21 is judged to be a failure of disconnection or short circuit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the axle load of a rear wheel axle from reducing and improve the whole distance running property of a vehicle by dissolving or previously obstructing the balancing toy phenomenon of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A front part of a vehicle 10 is suspended with a front wheel axle as a steering axle to which front wheels are rotatably fitted through a first suspension device, a rear part of the vehicle 10 is suspended with a rear wheel axle as a driving axle to which rear wheels are fixed through a second suspension device, and a center front part of the vehicle 10 is suspended with an induction wheel axle 17 which is provided spacedly from the front wheel axle by a fixed distance and induction wheels are rotatably fitted to through a third suspension device 23. The upper end of an air spring 25 of which the lower end is fitted to a chassis 18 nearby the induction wheel axle 17 is moved up and down by charging and discharging air to the air spring 25, and a bracket 26 is fitted to the chassis 18 so that it can be moved up and down following to the up and down movement of the air spring 25. The bracket 26 is provided with a lock part 26d which can be locked with the induction wheel axle 17 at rising.
