    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify home electric appliances connected by power plugs on the basis of a measurement result and the like of a power waveform of each electric appliance when power is supplied to the plurality of electric appliances, and to further measure and calculate requesting power amounts of those home electric appliances, to further learn the operation states of respective electric appliances to detect abnormal operation and thereby to control an EoD system.SOLUTION: A home electric appliance remote monitoring system comprises: a home electric appliance including a built-in smart tap, into which power plugs of one or more electric appliances can be inserted, and a smart tap function; and a server. The smart tap comprises: voltage waveform measuring means and/or current waveform measuring means; and communication means. The server has a function to determine the operation states of the respective connected electric appliances, and to transmit detected contents to an external network if it detected abnormality in the electric appliances.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved device and a method for calculating an amount of energy consumption on the whole stages in a multiphase system, using one or a plurality of single phase measuring blocks.
      SOLUTION: Upon sending each data from a certain measuring block located relatively on the upstream side to a certain measuring block located relatively on the downstream side, a data stream is connected so as to track a stream from one measuring block to the other measuring block. Energy data is coded as a designated small amount of energy, and the final measuring block in a successive structure of these measuring blocks simply calculates the amount of total energy consumption in an effective multiphase system, by adding energy quantum data reaching to the final measuring block.
