    • PURPOSE: To suppress the rise of temperature of a rotor and eliminate the need for cooling zone by regenerating the rotor for dehumidification by a high frequency heating and air blowing in such a way as to avoid the powdering of a dehumidifying agent by dewing or overheating at the outlet of the regeneration zone.
      CONSTITUTION: A dehumidifying rotor 2 is obtained by impregnating LiCl into a cylinder, formed by rolling up a laminate consisting of flat and corrugated sheets made of a moisture absorbing material having less dielectric loss, e.g., paper, cloth, etc., and providing a large number of small through holes in the axial direction of the rolled sheet. The magnetron originating portion 26 of a high-frequency originating circuit is connected to the separator struts 12 on both sides of a regeneration zone 5 by a metal waveguide 6C of the same sectional shape as the regeneration zone. The dehumidifying rotor 2 is turned with a slow speed, the high-frequency originating circuit is operated to generate a high frequency 8 and thereby to heat and evaporate moisture adsorbed on the dehumidifying agent inside the rotor 2 in the regeneration zone, and at the same time water vapor is expelled by regenerating air 7 from an air blower 21. On the other hand, air 13 to be treated is dehumidified in a treatment zone 4.

    • PURPOSE: To shorten the time for regenerating a rotor by a method wherein the rotor element of the captioned honeycomb type heat exchanger comprising heat adsorptive sheets is divided into an air inlet zone, an air exhaust zone and a gas adsorbing and removing zone, respectively, and hot air is supplied into the gas adsorbing the removing zone so as to remove gases adsorbed by the sheets.
      CONSTITUTION: The rotor 5 of the deodorizing and sterilizing full heat exchanger is rotated at a low velocity so that the open air OA and the room air A are introduced into a duct 10 and a duct 11, respectively, through small throughholes 4 of the rotor 5. Then, the air OA and the air A are made to exchange both sensible and latent heats with each other and harmfull gases contained in the airs are made to be adsorbed by the heat adsorptive materials 1 and 2. In case where the rotor 5 is regenerated, regeneration air heated put to about 80°W120°C is supplied for a short time from a duct 12 into the gas adsorbing and removing zone 9 through a small throughhole 4 so as to drive away the gases adsorbed by the adsorbing materials 1 and 2 and to sterilize them at the same time. Thus, the time for regenerating the rotor 5 can be shortened in the above arrangement.
