    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel battery, in which a gasket is formed integrally with a separator body by forming rubber in gasket forming grooves provided in the separator body and which prevents the gasket forming grooves from being damaged at the time of forming the rubber in the gasket forming grooves, thereby preventing sealing property from being lowered due to the damage to the separator. SOLUTION: A separator body has grooves formed in its both faces and is made of a mixture of carbon powder and a resin. The separator for a fuel battery is configured as follows. Rubber is formed in a gasket forming groove formed in at least one face of the separator body so as to form a gasket in the separator body. Groove side-surfaces in the gasket forming groove formed in one face of the separator body and groove side-surfaces in the groove formed in the rear face of the gasket forming groove being the other face of the separator body are formed into an inclined shape.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure by a metal gasket, capable of stably and surely securing seal performance and preventing corrosion of an engine by using the metal gasket which satisfies severe manufacturing, assembling and functioning requirements required as a gasket and of which electrolyte potential is different from that of protected members.
      SOLUTION: In the seal structure by the metal gasket, a flow passage (cooling water flow passage 60) of corrosive fluid is formed via the protected members (cylinder head 41, cylinder body 40) comprising two metallic materials coupled via a mating face P, and the metal gasket 43 comprising a metallic material is fitted into the mating face P. On the surface of the metal gasket 43, an insulating elastic layer (rubber layer 73) is formed, and an electrolytic corrosion inhibitor 75 is applied to abutting parts of the metal gasket 43 to the protected members 40, 41 via the insulating elastic layer 73.
