    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic actuator for use in a vibration damping device of a new structure capable of easily reducing or avoiding noise generated on switching between a contact state and a separation state for a base housing of an elastic wall member without requiring a special part, and the fluid filled vibration damping device using it. SOLUTION: The pneumatic actuator 10 for use in the vibration damping device comprises: the base housing 12; an elastic wall member 14 being fixed fluid-tightly to the base housing 12 to form a working air chamber 48 therebetween; and an energizing means 50 positioned in the working air chamber 48 for exerting an energizing force on an output portion 36 provided on the elastic wall member 14, so as to drive the output portion 36 in opposition to the energizing force by externally changing in an air pressure in the working air chamber 48. At least one of opposing faces of the base housing 12 and the elastic wall member 14 has a plurality of projecting rod parts 58 which extend from an inner circumferential side towards an outer circumferential side.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately apply the pressurizing force to a material through a pressure rod to be driven by the pressure of a fluid.
      SOLUTION: A reciprocating body 12 is assembled in a cylinder body 6, and the pressure rod 20 is reciprocatably installed in the reciprocating body 12. A tip of the pressure rod 20 is projected outward from the cylinder body 6. The reciprocating body 12 and diaphragms 17-19 divide inside the cylinder body 6 into a forward pressure chamber 27 and a dead-weight offset pressure chamber 29. After vertically setting the tip of the pressure rod 20 downward, the compressed fluid is supplied to the dead-weight offset pressure chamber 29 to offset the dead-weight of the reciprocating body 12 and the pressure rod 20. Thereafter, the compressed fluid is supplied to the forward pressure chamber 27 to push the pressure rod 20 through the fluid.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts in a negative pressure controller preferably employed in a system for maintaining the car speed at the setting level, by opening/closing the negative pressure and atmospheric port through three kind of control signals having different level to be applied on single solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:Under the state where an electromagnet 18 is not excited as shown on the drawing, a throttle valve coupled to a wire 16 is closed to rotate an engine with low speed. When the voltage V1 is applied on the magnet 18, the flux will attract an armature 27 to the pole 21 side against a spring 30. Consequently the valve body 35 will close an atmospheric port 36 to control the pressure in a control pressure chamber 5 constant thus to maintain the opening of the throttle valve constant. Thereafter the voltage V2 (>V1) is applied to attract both amartures 26, 27 to the poles 20, 21 against the springs 29, 30 thus to open/close the valve bodies 31, 35 respectively, thereby the negative pressure is led into the chamber 5 to move a diaphragm 3 to the right thus to increase the opening of the throttle valve through the wire and to accelerate the engine.
