    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability by reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: A constituent member of a discharging check valve is inserted through the opening of a piston 60 into a cavity, and the inner peripheral side of a spring receiving surface 65b of the piston 60 is partially pressurized after the insertion, thereby denting the spring receiving surface 65b and also swelling the inner peripheral surface surrounding the cavity to form a swell 67a. Since the piston 60 is thus plastically deformed to fix the discharging check valve 80, assemblability can be improved compared with a pump fixed by a relatively small member such as a snap ring. In addition, a dedicated part for fixing can be dispensed with, thereby reducing the number of components.

Consequently, it is possible to prevent the suction check valve from becoming large while permitting the smooth suction of the operating oil and the electromagnetic pump device can be compactly configured.

    • PURPOSE:To make the range of possible changeover for a discharge flow rate larger, by restricting the rate of a bypass flow returning to a suction side passage by adjusting an orifice diameter and reducing pressure drop within a plunger chamber. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 44 is provided in a discharge hole 16 located on the upper part of a plunger chamber 13, a bypass circuit 43 branching off from the discharge hole 16 and reaching the second pressure control valve 29 is formed downstream from said orifice 44, and a solenoid valve 33 is provided between them. Accordingly, the rate of a bypass flow returning to a suction side passage 8 via the second pressure control valve 29 is restricted by the diameter of the orifice 44 even if the second set pressure is set lower, pressure drop within the plunger chamber 13 is reduced, and the range of possible changeover for the discharge flow rate is increased.
