    • PURPOSE:To enhance rate of fuel consumption and raise the output power by means of prevention of knockings, by providing a depressurizing device, which depressurizes and evaporates the refrigerant for cooling the internal combustion engine, and by cooling the suction air with its latent heat. CONSTITUTION:A depressurizing device 27 is provided in connection from the outlet for refrigerant to cool an internal combustion engine 21 to the return piping 25 of radiator 22. Under heavy load, this depressurizing device 27 is put in operation to depressurize and evaporate the refrigerant, and thereby the suction air from a supercharger 3 is cooled by an intercooler 30, and a control valve 28 is installed to control the amount of inflow of the refrigerant supplied to the suction manifold 36 from the output piping 35. Thus the temperature of suction air can be sunk and knocking is prevented, assuring much improved rate of fuel consumption and output power.
