摘要： An inexpensive adhesive composition for wood which emits neither formaldehyde nor an irritative odor, causes neither skin rashes nor wood fouling/discoloration, has a long pot life, and is excellent in water resistance and heat resistance. The composition comprises: a main ingredient comprising a carboxy-modified aqueous emulsion or latex resin and an aqueous solution of a carboxy-modified polyvinyl alcohol polymer; and a compound having an N,N-diglycidylamino group as a tetrafunctional epoxy compound having a tertiary amino nitrogen atom. It comprises 100 pts.wt. of a carboxy-modified aqueous emulsion or latex resin having a modification amount of 0.1 to 20 wt.%, 0.2 to 270 pts.wt., in terms of resin amount, of an aqueous solution of a carboxy-modified polyvinyl alcohol polymer having a modification amount of 0.1 to 10 mol% and a degree of polymerization of 100 to 6,000, and 0 to 700 pts.wt. of a filler, and further contains 3 to 200 pts.wt. of the compound having an N,N-diglycidylamino group per 100 pts.wt. of the main ingredient.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive adhesive composition for a woody material, without releasing formaldehyde or irritating smell, without causing skin eruptions, the soiling of the woody materials, without causing discoloration, having along usable time, and excellent in waterproofness and heat resistance.
SOLUTION: This composition contains a main agent consisting of a carboxyl group-modified aqueous emulsion resin or latex resin with an aqueous solution of a carboxyl group-modified polyvinyl alcohol and an N,N-diglycidylamino group-containing compound as a 4-functional epoxy compound having a tert-amino nitrogen atom. Also the composition contains 0.2-270 pt.wt. carboxyl group-modified polyvinyl alcohol having 0.1-10 mol.% modified amount and 100-6,000 range degree of polymerization as a resin portion contained in the aqueous solution of the polymer and 0-700 pt.wt. filler based on 100 pts.wt. carboxyl group-modified aqueous emulsion resin or latex resin having 0.1-20 mol wt.% modified amount. Also, the composition contains N,N-diglycyldiamio group-containing compound by 3-150 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. main agent.
