    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of power of a heat medium carrying pump and sharply improve energy saving effect by employing a shape storing alloy heat engine to heat-exchange a heating side at fresh air temperature and a cooling side with a freezer heat-exchanging the heating side with a heater heat medium in summer, while heat-exchanging the heating side with a heater heat medium and the cooling side at fresh air temperature in winter. CONSTITUTION:A shape storing alloy heat engine is used which is adapted such that a shape storing alloy endless stripe is laid between two pulleys with different diameters disposed and separated away a predetermined distance as driving force for indoor air conditioning and freezer cooling heat medium carrying pumps 6, 6' of a cooling/heating system and one side of the laid stripe is heated while the other side of the same is cooled to cause a partial thermal/ mechanical solid phase change in the stripe for rotation of the pulleys. Further, in summer the heating side is heat-exchanged at fresh air temperature while the cooling side is heat-exchanged with a heat medium released from the freezer, while in winter the heating side is heat-exchanged with a heat medium released from the heater while the cooling side is heat-exchanged at fresh air temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of the size of a thermoelectric device by a method wherein, in a cooling unit utilizing a Peltier effect, a surface on the radiation side is covered with a nonconductive heat infrared ray selective transmission film having a function to transmit only heat infrared rays of a specified wavelength area and convert radiating heat into a heat infrared rays of the wavelength area. CONSTITUTION:In a cooling unit formed such that a plurality of electric and heat energy conversion elements utilizing a Peltier effect are combined together, a surface on the radiation side is covered with a non-conductive heat infrared ray selective transmission film 9 having a function to transmit only heat infrared rays of a wavelength area of 8-13mum and convert a radiating heat into heat infrared rays of the wavelength area. This constitution performs rapid radiation on the heat generation side, prevents reduction of cooling efficiency, and effects cooling for a long time. Further, since there is no need for an attendant device, such as a fin for radiation and a fan, the whole of a unit is formed in a compact shape and weight is reduced and promotes a practical use. Moreover, since the shape and the degree of freedom of a design are increased, an application field is further widened.
