    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory (mortar) for an interlayer of a nozzle for continuous casting, which prevents press crack of an outer circumferential side layer due to thermal expansion difference of an inner hole side layer and the outer circumferential side layer made of a body material and has a shape capable of fixing the inner hole side layer to the outer circumferential side layer (a body of the nozzle for continuous casting) at a predetermined interval in the nozzle for continuous casting with an improved durability achieved by disposing a layer with high functions such as high corrosion resistance and high antiadhesiveness at the inner hole side, and also to provide a nozzle for continuous casting using the refractory for the interlayer.
      SOLUTION: The refractory for the interlayer of the nozzle for continuous casting contains ≥10 volume% and ≤75 volume% of a hollow refractory aggregate which satisfies the relation of R/t≥10, wherein R is an average radius of a particle and t is an average wall thickness. The refractory is arranged between the inner hole side layer 2 and the outer circumferential side layer 3, 4 of the nozzle for continuous casting as the interlayer 1.
