    • PURPOSE:To prevent suppression of vibrations by electrical connection and make it possible to accurately obtain desired sound pressure by forming at least one of the electrical connecting parts of connecting the electrodes together by a through-hole formed at a position not suppressing the vibrations. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric buzzer 30 is provided with a diaphragm 31 made of metal plate or synthetic resin plate and a laminated ceramic vibrator 32 bonded to the plate 31. The vibrator 32 is formed by sintered bodies obtained by sintering and simultaneous laminating of the electrodes and plural ceramic green sheets. The feature of the buzzer 30 is that the electrical connection between the electrodes of the laminated ceramic vibrator 32 is formed by a through-hole 34a formed in the vicinity of the node of vibrations of the buzzer 30 (shown by the broken line X). Since the through-hole 34a is scarcely moved during vibrations of the buzzer 30 so that the desired sound pressure may be obtained without suppressing the vibrations of the piezoelectric buzzer 30.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress spurious radiation based on the primary resonance or other spurious radiation effectively by polarizing adjacent ceramics layers in opposite direction mutually and adopting the structure electrodes at both ends are led out externally. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 15, 16 are formed on upper and lower faces of a piezoelectric ceramics 11 by removing polarization electrodes 13, 14 formed at left and right faces of the piezoelectric ceramics to which internal electrodes 12a-12e are exposed. Thus, a piezoelectric resonator 17 is obtained. The plural electrodes 12a-12e and 15, 16 arranged so as to be overlapped mutually in the resonator 17 constitute electrode groups and ceramics 11a-11d arranged between the electrodes are polarized in opposite direction mutually. Then the electrodes 15, 16 placed at both ends are so constructed that they are led out externally. Through the constitution above, the vibrating displacement in opposite direction to each other is produced among the electrodes adjacent in broadwise direction, and only the specific vibration corresponding to the thickness of the ceramics layer is excited. Thus, other spurious vibrations are suppressed effectively.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and also to decrease a spurious level by providing an input side electrode group and an output side electrode group so as to overlap in the broadwise direction of ceramics. CONSTITUTION:Polarized electrodes 12, 13 are formed to an upper face and a lower face of a laminated type ceramics 11 having an internal electrode and polarization processing is applied so as to be polarized into the broadwise direction P. The internal electrode consists of two electrode groups 14, 15 overlapped in the broadwise direction of the ceramics, each electrode group is overlapped mutually in the broadwise direction P of the ceramics and consists of plural inserted electrodes 14a-14e and 15a-15e overlapped mutually and placed in parallel in the broadwise direction P of the ceramics and they are alternately led out to ceramics side faces 16, 17 respectively. On the other hand, in applying an input voltage while using one electrode group as the input side electrode group, the input side electrode group vibrates in the broadwise direction, a surface acoustic wave based on the vibration is delivered in the broadwise direction of the ceramics and an output is extracted from the output side electrode group.
