    • PURPOSE:To obtain a radiowave-absorbing body having excellent characteristics by forming a plurality of tapered protruding ridges or projections on one surface of a mat shaped fiber assembly. CONSTITUTION:In a radiowave absorbing body, polar polymer of nylon and the like is coated with carbon. The carbon and polyvinyl chloride are dissolved and dispersed in toluene. The solution is splayed and applied, and the carbon coating is provided. Entangled fibers are bonded with a bonding agent. A mat shaped fiber assembly incorporates at least two fibers having at least two kinds of thicknesses, e.g., 0.1mm phiand 1mmphi. The kinds of the thicknesses are increased for radiowave absorption in a broad range. The thickness of the carbon coating is 10-30mum. Tapered protruding ridges or projections are provided on one surface of the met so that the tips are sharp. The projections are directed toward the radiowave input direction (a). At this time, it is considered that the conductivity is changed apparently in the thickness direction in the absorbing body. The conductivity is low at the incident surface. The conductivity becomes higher toward the inner part. Since the conductivity at the incident surface is low, the difference between said conductivity and that of air is small. The amount of the radiowave which is reflected from the incident surface is decreased, and the excellent radiowave absorbing characteristics can be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To produce a high noise suppression effect, by a method wherein, in a device which generates discharge between a rotary electrode and a plurality of fixed electrodes to distribute a high voltages, a part or the whole of the electrode is formed by a magnetic substance composition containing ferromagnetic powder and high heat resistant thermoplastic type resin power in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A distributor is formed with a central rotary electrode 1 rotates in linkage with an engine and a plurality of columnar fixed electrodes 2 situated at equal intervals therearound. By generation of discharge between the two electrodes 1 and 2, a high voltage is distributed and fed to each ignition plug. In this case, a part or the whole of the electrodes 1 and 2 is formed by a resin bonding type magnetic composition containing 80-95wt% ferromagnetic powder, e.g. ferrite powder, iron powder, and 5-20wt% high heat resistant thermoplastic resin powder. A prepolymer prepared by reacting an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid bisimide compound to a polyamin compound having at least two amino groups in a molecule is used as high heat resistant thermoplastic type resin powder.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a resistance value of wire to be always maintained constant by forming at least insulating layer with a specific thermoplastic rubber and giving an oil resistance by the hard phase of a thermoplastic rubber and flexibility by the soft phase of the thermoplastic rubber. CONSTITUTION:A wire for ignition is equipped with a conductive rubber layer 2 as a conductor and an insulating layer 3 provided on the peripheral surface of the conductive rubber layer. The hard phase of the insulating layer 3 can be a polyolefin plastic and the soft phase of the insulating layer can be an olefin elastomer partially bridged by a polyolefin rubber. Further, the hard phase of the insulating layer 3 can be a polystylene or its derivative and the soft phase of the insulating layer 3 can be a stylene elastomer having a bridging. Moreover, the hard phase of the insulating layer 3 can contain an aromatic polyester and the soft phase can contain a polyester elastomer including a non-crystalline polyester. In thus combined thermoplastic rubber, a dielectric constant is less than 3 and a degree of oil swelling resistance is less than 15% according to a result of measurement by a dipping process of 90 deg.CX8hours employing JISK6301 No.1 oil.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an ignition wire of a low electrostatic capacity, with little variation of resistance value even though it is bent, and of a low cost, by composing the wire with a fine diameter conductor of a specific scope of resistance value consisting of a collecting body of a reinforcing fiber and a conductive fiber of a specific thickness and resistance and a rubber insulating layer furnished thereover. CONSTITUTION:An ignition wire is composed of a fine diameter conductor 3 with a structure of a collecting body 1 of a conductor fiber 11 and a reinforcing fiber 12, on which a semiconductor layer 2 is formed, and a rubber insulating layer 4 covering the outside of the conductor 3. As the conductor, a simple structure of the collecting body 1 of the reinforcing fiber 12 and the conductive fiber 11 with the thickness 10 to 300 deniers and the resistance value 1 to 500OMEGA/m is used. Consequently, since the wire is fine and makes little variation of resistance value to a bending, a stable low electrostatic capacity can be obtained constantly. In such a composition, the reduction of impedance of the wire to the earth potential and the leak current are little even though an electrolyte such as an antifreezing mixture is attached, the engine starting is made smooth, and the cost is reduced.
