摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaker that hardly short-circuits between electrodes by forming two exhaust holes for exhausting gas by arc generated when a movable contact opens and separates from a fixed contact in two upper and lower stages in the height direction of an apparatus body. SOLUTION: In an end surface under an electric wire insertion hole 16A and an electric wire insertion hole 16B, an apparatus-body mounting locking-hole 112 and an exhaust hole 109, which exhausts gas generated by opening or closing for a fixed contact and a movable contact that are arranged in a partition on the inside and lower side of two partitions divided by side walls of a first side case 1A and a second side case 1B and an intermediate case, are opened. An exhaust hole 110 for diagonally upward exhausting gas generated by opening or closing for the fixed contact and the movable contact that are arranged in an upside partition is opened in the upper surface of the other end of an apparatus body 1. These exhaust holes 109, 110 separate upside and downside, and directions facing to the outside of the apparatus body 1 provide an angle at which they separate from each other. Therefore, discharge directions of arcs generated in forced electrode opening time differ from each other to prevent inter-electrode short circuit caused by mixing of the arcs of both electrodes.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker which is made compact by reducing width and height of its casing body. SOLUTION: A casing body 1 of the circuit breaker is formed by butting and connecting a left- and a right-side first casing 1A, 1B made of a synthetic resin to each other. The casing body 1 contains two fixed contacts 2A, 2B juxtaposed in a width direction of the casing body 1 and disposed above and below in a height direction of the casing body 1, two movable contactors 4A, 4B fixed with fixing movable contacts 3A, 3B releasably opposed to the fixed contacts 2A, 2B, respectively, and disposed above and below in the height direction of the casing body 1, and an opening and closing mechanism for driving these two movable contactors 4A, 4B. The movable contactors 4A, 4B are driven through the opening and closing mechanism by manual on/off operation to thereby contact or separate the movable contacts 3A, 3B to or from the fixed contacts 2A, 2B, respectively.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device of a small circuit breaker which allows easy connection and release of a wire. SOLUTION: A circuit breaker is composed of a wire insertion hole 11, a terminal assembly 7 to which a conductor part 5 of a wire inserted through the wire insertion hole 11 is contacted, a locking spring 6 pressing the conductor part 5 of the wire against the terminal assembly 7, and a wire releasing button 4 having a lock releasing part 9 and an operation part 10. The operation part 10 of the wire releasing button 4 is outside the circuit breaker. The wire is released by moving the operation part 10 of the wire releasing button 4 in a wire inserting direction, so that the lock releasing part 9 of the wire releasing button 4 presses the locking spring 6.

With this structure, the selecting terminal 3 can be freely connected to the conductive bars B1-B3, and the assembling property into the main body 1 is improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the width direction of a breaker by constituting it in such a state as shifting a terminal device in the direction perpendicular to the both of the insertion direction of an electric wire or a bar and the width direction of the breaker. SOLUTION: A power side and a load side have electric wire insertion holes 1c, 1d, etc., in which an insertion part 2a and a conductor part 3a of an electric wire 3 provided in bars 2 respectively are inserted. The electric wire insertion holes 1c, 1d, etc., are arranged so as to level differences vertically. The electric wire insertion holes 1c, 1d, etc., are arranged so as to have level differences vertically so that, even if the width-directional length is small (including 0), the electric wire 3 and the bars 2 inserted in each pole can secure the sufficient insulation distance by the vertical length to be safe. When fingers seize the electric wire 3 in inserting/drawing out the electric wire 3, a sufficient space can be held between adjoining electric wires 3, thereby preventing the workability from being spoiled. The reduction in the width direction can be sufficiently attained so as to miniaturize the circuit breaker.
