    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly useful fingerprint sensor capable of stably and correctly detecting information on the shape of a fingertip to form an accurate fingerprint image. SOLUTION: A sensor chip 1 provided with an oblong fingerprint detection surface 4 is mounted on a package 2 equipped with a first electrode group. The sensor chip 1 is so structured as to read the information on irregularity of the fingertip surface in the detection surface 4. The sensor chip 1 is provided with: a signal conversion part for converting the information on the irregularity of the fingertip surface into an electric signal; and a second electrode terminal group 8 for transmitting the electric signal. The first electrode terminal group of the package 2 is electrically connected to the terminal group 8 of the sensor chip in the upper and lower parts of the detection surface 4.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a vibration gyro and a vibration gyro component that have excellent machining accuracy, high sensitivity, and very small characteristic dispersion in sensitivity.
