    • PURPOSE:To improve the stability and pressure resistance of a dyestuff image by incorporating silver halide particles contg. a specified mol% or more of silver chloride and color-sensitized with a specified sensitizing dyestuff and lipophilic fine particles obtd. by emulsifying and dispersing a soln. contg. a water soluble bromide, a dyestuff forming coupler and a polymer insoluble in water but soluble in an org. solvent into at least one of emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:Silver halide particles having >=95mol% silver chloride content and color-sensitized with a sensitizing dyestuff represented by formula I and lipophilic fine particles obtd. by emulsifying and dispersing a soln. contg. a water soluble bromide, a dystuff forming coupler and a polymer insoluble in water but soluble in an org. solvent are incorporated into at least one of silver halide emulsion layers. In the formula I, each of Z1 and Z2 is a group of atoms required to form a ring such as oxazole, thiazole or quinoline, each of R1 and R2 is alkyl, alkenyl or aryl, X1 is an anion and k is 0 or 1. A formed dyestuff image has superior shelf stability in a dark place and superior pressure resistance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title material which has the high sensitivity and stability against the lapse of time by incorporating a silver halide particle contg. >=80mol% of a color-sensitized silver halide, a compd. shown by a specified formula and a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring compd. contg. mercapto group in at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particle contg. >=80mol% of the silver chloride color-sensitized with a sensitizing dye, the compd. shown by formula II and the nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring compd. are incorporated in at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers. In formula I, Z11 and Z12 are each an atomic group necessary for forming a benzene ring condensed with oxazole ring, R11 and R12 are each alkyl group, etc., R13 is H or 1-3C alkyl group, X1 is an anion, (n) is 1 or 0. In formula II, L1-L4 are each a hydrocarbon group, J1 and J2 are each -O- or -COO- group, etc., Y is hydrogen atom., etc., Z is heterocyclic ring group, G is sulfonic acid group, etc., R and R are each hydrogen atom., etc., (k), (l), (m) and (n) are each 0-2, (p) is 0-4, (q) is 1-4, (r) is 1-2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming method by which no unevenness in an image and a stable color tone of black dots are ensured when a color image is obtained by subjecting a silver halide photographic sensitive material to laser exposure or scanning exposure with a light emitting diode. SOLUTION: In the color image forming method in which a silver halide photosensitive material is exposed with a light source for forming a yellow image, a light source for forming a magenta image and a light source for forming a cyan image selected from laser light sources or light emitting diodes, the sensitivity between emulsion layers in exposure with each of the light sources satisfies a certain relation, the minimum light exposures for Y, M and C layers in the reproduction of Y, M and C simple colors in exposures with the light sources also satisfy a certain relation and the silver halide photographic sensitive material is kept in close contact with the surface of a rotary drum when exposed.
