    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem that the posture of a transplanted seedling is liable to be backward (or forward) tilted, because the seedling tilted along the upper surface slope of a seedling-receiving plate is taken out and subsequently transplanted, when the upper surface of the seedling-receiving plate disposed behind or before a laterally and reciprocatively movable seedling carriage is backward (or forward) tilted, and a problem that a seeding group may smoothly not be delivered from the seedling carriage, when the upper surface of the seedling-receiving plate is horizontally disposed. SOLUTION: This device for taking out seedlings is obtained by disposing a seedling- taking port 40 formed in a U-shaped shape from the rear side (or the front side) in the center of a laterally long seedling-receiving plate 39, disposing a seeding carriage 41 disposed before or behind the seedling-receiving plate 39 so that the rear portion (or front portion) of a seedling group 45 loaded on the seedling carriage 41 is protruded on the seedling-receiving plate 39 and laterally and reciprocatively moved, disposing in the seedling-taking port 40 a shielding plate 61 which is opened, when a downward moved planting rod 28 passes through the seedling-taking port 40, backward (or forward) tilting the upper surface of the seedling-receiving plate 39, and horizontally disposing the upper surface of the shielding plate 61, when the seedling-taking port 40 is closed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the selection of continuous operations and intermittent operations of seedling transplanting tools when changing a transplanting pitch of seedlings. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter is obtained by installing a seedling transplanting device equipped with seedling transplanting tools driven by the power of an engine in a mobile car body having propulsion units driven by the power of the engine and arranging an in-place stopping clutch capable of disconnecting the power transmission when the seedling transplanting tools 74 attain nearly constant positions at the time of disconnecting the power transmission between the engine and the seedling transplanting device and further providing an intermittent operating device 99 for actuating the in-place stopping clutch into a connected state at an interval of a prescribed time. Furthermore, this seedling transplanter is provided with a continuous operating device 100 capable of always keeping the in-place stopping clutch in the connected state.
