摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare a desulfurizing agent inexpensively, by oxidizing coal with air partially, carbonizing it, activating it, and cooling it while transferring and dropping coal particles by their gravity. CONSTITUTION:The coal 1 is fed to the granulator 100, crushed, and classified by the classifying machine 101 into proper particles. The pulverized coal 4 is effectively used as a fuel for boiler, etc., and the classified coal particles 3 are introduced to the air oxidation part 102 at the top of a production unit for a desulfurizing agent. The particles 3 are partially oxidized with air while being transferred and dropped by their gravity. The coal oxidized with air is carbonized in the carbonizing part 103 while being transferred and dropped. The formed carbonized gas and tar substances are properly used as a fuel for the device of this process. The carbonized coal particles are activated with steam while being transferred and dropped, in the activating part 104, cooled with a cooling medium while beging dropped through the cooling part 105 and taken out, to give the desulfurizing agent 5.

摘要： PURPOSE:To economically recover a sulfur component as high-quality sulfur as a simple substance by reducing SO2 contained in hot waste gas after regenerating a desulfurizing agent for gas obtd. by coal gasification with the gas obtd. by the gasification. CONSTITUTION:A reduction tower 21 is packed with a catalyst, and part 17' of desulfurized gasified gas 17 from a high temp. dry desulfurization tower 11 is mixed with waste gas 16 from a tower 12 for regenerating a desulfurizing agent and fed to the tower 21. The reaction temp. in the tower 21 is set to about 300- 600 deg.C. Under the reaction conditions SO2 in the waste gas 16 is reduced to sulfur S2 as a simple substance by main reaction with H2 and CO in the desulfurized gasified gas 17'. The resulting gas 25 contg. S2 from the tower 21 is cooled with a cooler 23 to recover the S224. The remaining gaseous mixture of H2, S, COS, etc. produced by side reaction is fed to an apparatus 31 for treating tail gas and treated to recover sulfur 32 as a simple substance, and it is exhausted as waste gas 33.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain easily an adsorber having high mechanical strength and packing density, by classifying carbonized coals by the difference of specific gravity and using carbonized coals having a heavy specific gravity as an adsorber and using carbonized coals having a light specific gravity as a reducing agent. CONSTITUTION: Fuel coals 1 are crushed and classified by a crusher 109 and a classifier 110 and are fed partially to a carbonization furnace 111. Carbonized coals 24 are classified by a specific gravity difference classifier 112 to which sea water or the like is charged, and carbonized coals having a light specific gravity which are floated up are dried by a drier 113 and are fed to a reducing tower 104 and are used as a reducing agent 14. Precipitated carbonized coals having a heavy specific gravity are dried and activated by a drying furnace 114 and an activating furnace 115 and are fed as an adsorber 12 to an adsorbing tower 101. Thus, since the adsorber 12 classified by the specific gravity difference has no expanded grains and has high hardness and packing density, the adsorber and the reducing agent suitable for a use are selected from fuel coals easily.

After the oil is attached to a carbonaceous component in the flow 110 efficiently and selectively, the slurry is separated into an oily phase and a water phase by the decanter 6, the oily phase is taken out from the flow 112 so that the carbonaceous component is separated, while the water phase is taken out from the flow 113 so that the ash is separated. in order to improve the contact efficiency between the slurry and the oil, an orifice mixer or static mixer having transporting pipes provided with constriction parts from which the oil is added is preferably used.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance removal efficiency of SOx and to attain to reduce a desulfurizing cost, in removing sulfur oxide in a waste gas of coal combustion from a boiler or the like, by using coal of which a wt. ratio of ash and fixed carbon is a specific value respectively as stock coal for a desulfurizing agent. CONSTITUTION:Coal whose wt. ratio of ash is 15% or less and that of fixed carbon is 50% or more, for example, Ermelo coal is crushed and classified by a crushing machine 107 and a classifying machine 108 and, thereafter, sent into a dry distillation and activating furnace 109 to prepare a desulfurizing agent. The obtained desulfurizing agent is sent to a moving layer adsorbing tower 101 by a conveying machine 110 and contacted with a waste gas from a boiler 100 in a crosswise stream mode to adsorb and remove SOx. The treated gas is discharged to the air through a dust removing machine 105 and a chimney 106. The SOx adsorbed desulfurizing agent is sent to a desorbing tower 102 from the adsorbing tower 101 to be regenerated therein and, after fine coal is removed by the classifying machine 104, returned to the adsorbing tower 101. On the other hand, a desorbed gas 7 is sent to a sulfur element recovery apparatus 103 to recover sulfur.

A thickener such as magnesia, lithium aluminate, or potassium titanate is mixed to form a slurry. It is preferable that fine particles of less than 10mum in diameter is used for the thickener.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform dry type stack gas desulfurization economically by using a fine desulfurizing agent produced in the circulation system of the agent in an adsorption tower and a desulfurization tower wherein said desulfurizing agent consisting of coat as raw material and being used, as a reducing agent for gaseous SO2. CONSTITUTION:The waste combustion gas 4 of a boiler 100 joins with flow 5 and SOx contd. Therein is removed in an adsorption tower 200. The desulfurizing agent having adsorbed sulfuric acid is heated, desorbed and regenerated in a desorption tower 300. The regenerated desulfurizing agent is removed of powdery material in a classifier 900, and is circulated to the tower 200. The powdery material is used for the reduction of the desorbed gas in a reducing tower 400 and the reducing gas 14 contg. S2, CO2, CO, H2, H2S is cooled in a condenser 500. The S2 fraction is recovered into a storage tank 800. The remaining gas 16 forms sulfur by reacting with the SO2 from the flow 19 which is part of the desorbed gas of the flow 9 in a claus reaction tower and is recovered via a condenser 700 into the tank 800. The uncondensed gas in the condenser 700 is joined from the flow 5 into the waste combustion gas 4.

Meanwhile, the charged layer of adsorbing tower 2 which adsorbs sulfur oxides is sent to elimination tower 3 and is heated at 300-400 deg.C to take out highly concentrated SO2 from tube 10. This highly concentrated SO2 is led into convertor 4 where semicoke is charged; and after SO2 is reduced to vapor of S by heating at 800-900 deg.C, vapor of S is led to electric dust collector 21 through cyclon dust collector 27. Soot is eliminated therein at approximately 350 deg.C, and vapor of S is led into S condenser 5 to condense S, and element S is taken out from tube 12.

摘要： PURPOSE:To minimize the decrease of O2 and CO2 concentrations in a mixture gas which is fed to a positive electrode, and increase the efficiency of the generation by introducing gas which contains CO2 and flows out of negative electrode into a CO2-separating system, and making CO2 to be cooled and separated by the vaporization heat of liquified natural gas which is supplied to the separating system. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied natural gas used as fuel is vaporized in a CO2-separating system 1 to make vaporized natural gas. The vaporized natural gas is mixed with hot steam before it is introduced into a fuel-reforming system 2, where it undergoes steam reforming and is converted into a mixture gas consisting of H2, CO, CO2 and H2O, which is fed to the gas chamber of a negative electrode 3. The former mixture gas reacts with CO3 within the negative electrode 3 to become a mixture gas consisting of H2 (unreacted), CO, CO2 and H2O, which is introduced into the combustion chamber of the fuel-reforming system 2. Next, a mixture gas which flows out of this combustion chamber and consists of CO2, H2O and N2 is introduced into a condensor 6, where H2O is removed. A mixture gas which flows out of the condensor 6 and consists of CO2 and N2, is introduced into the CO2-separating system 1, where CO2 is solidified and separated by the vaporization heat of liquefied natural gas. The thus separated solidifed CO2 is vaporized, is mixed with air which is fed to a positive electrode 5, and is introduced into the positive electrode 5.
