    • PURPOSE:To restrict a volume of nitride oxide generated by a method wherein a bypassing duct not passing in a heat exchanger device is arranged at least either one of the air duct or a discharged gas duct, and a change-over damper for controlling a volume of fluid is arranged in the duct. CONSTITUTION:A bypass duct 8 not passing in a heat exchanger 1 is arranged from a discharging gas duct 3a between the boiler 5 and the heat exchanger 1 to a discharging gas duct 3b between the boiler 5 and the chimney 7. Each of the change-over dampers 9a to 9c is fixed in each of said ducts 3a, 3b and 8. A degree of opening of each of the dampers 9a to 9c is adjusted in a range of operation of high load having a high fuel consumption of the boiler 5 in reference to a volume of nitride oxide in the chimney 7 measured by a concentrometer 10 for nitride oxide and a flow rate of fuel measured by a flow meter 11. Thereby, a volume of combustion air 17 applied for a heat exchanging in the heat exchanger 1 and a volume of discharged gas 16 are controlled, and a volume of the nitride oxide in the chimney 7 is restricted to a value lower than a desired value.

    • PURPOSE:To improve heat transmitting performance of a heat pipe, by ensuring adhesiveness of a wick by inserting into a heat pipe an inner pipe having a similar sectional configuration as a container and an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the wick at the portion thereof where it is to be bent in bending a portion of the heat pipe having a wick fitted therein. CONSTITUTION:At a portion 1 of container 3 in the form of a straight pipe having a wick 2 fitted therein where it is to be bent, there is inserted a tubular member 5 which has an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the wick 2 and a similar sectional configuration as the container 3. Then, the portion 1 of the straight pipe 3 where it is to be bent is bent into a required shape by means of a pipe bender. By thus manufacturing the heat pipe, it is enabled to ensure adhesiveness of the wick 2 to the inner wall surface of the container 3 and to prevent clogging of the pipe, so that heat transmitting performance of the heat pipe can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a highly precise quantity of working liquid, prevent air penetration and make properties uniform by providing a valve at the top of an unfinished heat pipe, inserting the bottom into a working liquid inside a tank, replacing an air inside an unfinished pipe with a working liquid vapor from the valve and finally introducing the working liquid into the unfinished pipe. CONSTITUTION:A three-point valve 9 is provided at the top of an unfinished heat pipe 1 and the bottom is inserted into a working liquid inside a liquid tank 11 up to a position to meet a hermetically contained quantity. Then a working liquid vapor 5a is introduced into the unfinished pipe 1 from a channel 10a. Next, a tubular passage 10a is closed and a tubular passage 10a is opened to expose the unfinished pipe 1 to an atmosphere. Consequently the working liquid 5 inside a liquid tank 11 flows into the unfinished pipe 1, pushing up a working liquid 5a inside and discharging a vapor through a flow passage 10b. When a prearranged hermetically contained quantity is filled, a valve 9 is closed and the unfinished pipe 1 is pulled out of a liquid tank as it is. Following this procedure, the upper and lower ends are pressed, sealed and cut. In this manner, it is possible to obtain a highly precise quantity of hermetically contained working liquid, prevent air penetration and make properties uniform.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture the long size heat pipe of excellent productivity, by inserting the core wire possessing plasticity and the strip type wick into the inside of heat pipe blank possessing the shape larger than the final product shape, and by integrally applying the drawing work to these materials, and then, by melting or dissolving the core wire to remove it. CONSTITUTION:Into inside of the heat pipe blank 1a possessing outer diameter larger than the final product's outer diameter, the core wire 6 possessing outer diameter smaller than inner diameter of this pipe blank 1a and the strip type wick 3 are inserted. Under this condition, the pipe blank 1a is integrally drawn by the die 7 and the wick 3 is tight stuck to the inner wall surface 5 of the pipe blank 1a. Next, this pipe blank 1a, to whose inner wall surface 5 the wick 3 is being tight stuck, is heated or dipped into the chemicals solution in order to melt or dissolve and remove the inside core wire 6; hereby, the desirably shaped heat pipe element 1, to whose inner wall surface 5 the wick 3 is being tight stuck, is manufactured. Hereupon, the metallic pipe of copper, etc., of excellent thermal conductivity is employed for the pipe blank 1a, the material possessing plasticity and being meltable or dissolvable by heating or chemicals solution is employed for the core wire 6, and the wire mesh of copper, etc., is employed for the wick 3.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the surface joining device which can properly join the surfaces of optical components mutually without a shift between the contact surfaces of the optical components when the surfaces of the optical components are joined with each other and without generating stress strain in the device itself even when the frictional force between the contact surfaces is large. CONSTITUTION:This devices is a surface joining device which joins the surfaces of 1st and 2nd optical components, having optical axes and contact surfaces, with each other by making the contact surfaces abut on each other. This device is equipped with a 1st stage 10 which holds the 1st optical component 1 and a 2nd stage 20 which holds the 2nd optical component 2, and one of the 1st and 2nd stage has a guide 11a which guides the movement of the stage along a Z axis and the other 1st or 2nd stage has 1st and 2nd support means 22a and 23a which support the optical components at least rotatably and fixedly as to an X and a Y axis orthogonal to the Z axis. The 1st and 2nd stages are movable along the X and Y axes with stress generated when the contact surfaces of the 1st an 2nd optical components are made to abut on each other.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of the light emitting and receiving surface of a light emitting and receiving element by recessing the lens part (spherical projecting part) of a spherically pointed optical fiber to be optically coupled to this light emitting and receiving element from the connecting end face to the light emitting and receiving element. CONSTITUTION:A core part 1b at the end face 1a of the spherically pointed optical fiber 1 is formed as the spherical projecting part 2 projecting from the end face part 1c near this core part. The front end 2a of the spherical projecting part 2 is aligned to the light emitting surface 3a of a semiconductor laser (LD) 3. The end face part 1d at the outer peripheral edge exclusive of the end face 1c of the end face 1a and the end face part 3b exclusive of the light emitting surface 3 of the LD 3 are welded by using, for example, solder. The spherically pointed optical fiber 1 and the LD 3 are fixed to each other. The front end 2a of the spherical projecting part 2 is recessed from the end face part 1d at the outer peripheral edge in such a case. Then, the damage of the light emitting surface 3a by contacting of the front end 2a of the spherical projecting part 2 with the light emitting surface 3a of the LD 3 is prevented in the process of the operation to align the light emitting surface 3a and the spherical projecting part 2.
