Then, in a pulse forming circuit 4, the inputted CD signal is divided into three parts such as the start part, middle part and finish part by each of these control signals to generate the pulses respectively corresponded thereto, and the space length just before the inputted CD signal is recognized by a pulse train control circuit 10, then the width or amplitude of each pulse is controlled in accordance with the space length.

SOLUTION: Under control of an elevating/lowering motor 18, a carrying unit 7 elevates or lowers to the stage of a cartridge 3 being discharged and stops thereat. A guide arm is closed and a release arm turns about a bearing part to actuate a lock arm at the forward end thereof thus retracting a lock claw from a rock hole. Forward end of the release arm also actuates a rock arm for window to unlock a window 5. Both the cartridge 3 and the window 5 are thereby unlocked. Subsequently, the carrying unit 7 actuates a guide belt to push out the cartridge 3 from the opposite side faces. At that time, the cartridge 3 and the window 5 are unlocked.

When the switch is depressed, in the CAS 11 specialized for cartridge loading, a solenoid for door opening is instantly energized and a lever for door locking is attracted downward against the pressing force of a spring. Consequently, when the engaged state between the engaging part of the door 33 and the key part of the lever is released, a door close sensor is made to be in a non-detection state.
