    • PURPOSE:To reduce a ballot vending time, by a construction wherein, in a continuous vending mode, a continuous printing is carried out by omitting the forward and reverse paper feed for cutting a ballot, and the printing is interrupted for cutting a first ballot in the cutting of the first ballot and thereafter the printing is successively continued. CONSTITUTION:In a continuous printing mode ; a roll paper 1 is fed between a thermal head 2 and a platen roller 3, after the paper feed of a front margin L2, a printing is conducted on a printing area L3 of a ballot, after the paper feed of a rear margin L4 and the front margin L2 successively, a printing is carried out on the former half (L5-L2) of the second ballot. After the aforesaid printing is completed, the cut position of the first ballot coincides with a cutter 8, and then the continuous printing is interuppted for cutting the first ballot and feeding it out. Simultaneously, a printing is performed on the latter half of the second ballot. In this manner, after the printing on the first ballot is completed, the forward feed of L5 for cutting and the reverse feed of (L5-L2) in the printing of the second ballot can be omitted.

    • PURPOSE:To make reading of a magnetic card possible at the time of either the front side or the back side of the card is inserted by changing an analog signal to a digital signal by switching to low reference voltage for slicing that can read leakage flux when the back side is inserted. CONSTITUTION:Waveform of clock signals of a magnetic card read by a reading head are corrected by an amplifier section 61 and inputted to a comparator 71 and compared with reference voltage V1 for slicing at the time of normal insertion. In the case of reverse insertion of the front side and back side, output voltage becomes negative side as input voltage is low. A front side and back side judging circuit 72 transmits the front side or back side signal to a switching device 73 and a switching controlling section 63. When the signal of the right side is received, the switching device 73 supplies reference voltage V1 to the comparator section 62 and when the back side signal is received, switches to low reference voltage V2 that allows reading of leakage flux and supplies to the comparator section. The comparator section 62 slices signals of the data area of the magnetic card at reference voltage V1 or V2 and converts to digital signals. The switching controlling section 63 changes allotment of signals from the comparator section 62 to specified data tracks.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an other combination from being included in a voting note in which an amount is divided and combined even when a power failure occurs while dividing the amount by issuing a note starting from fractional amount when the amount exceeding over the upper limit is divided to issue the note. CONSTITUTION:When indicated plural combinations and an amount Mi corresponding to them are inputted, and when the amount Mi exceeds over a prescribed amount Mo, at first, a division of Mi/Mo is performed with the second division control means 5. As a result, when a fractional amount is present, a note issuing part 1 is controlled, the fractional amount and the combination corresponding to the former are printed and note-issued dirstly, and afterwards, the printing and the note issuing of the prescribed amount Mo and the combination corresponding to the former are repeated until the amount Mi goes to zero. Therefore, even when the power failure occurs in process of division of the amount, the amount against a voting content for an unissued note at a power failure time is the amount of integer-folds of the prescribed amount that is the upper limit amount possible to be printed on one issuing note, and consequently, the other combination cannot be included in the voting note to which the amount is being divided.
