    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet type reaction apparatus having high reaction efficiency, improved maintenance and excellent performance. SOLUTION: A reaction vessel 18 of this apparatus ejects a specimen water as underwater jets 8 accompanied by cavitation from an upper nozzle 1 of a V-shaped downward reaction tube 20. The jets 8 collide against a bottom 21 and the collided jets 22 ascend in a riser 19 from which the jets are discharged. When the high-velocity jets 8 collide against each other in the bottom, the air bubbles in the water are excited like chains by the impact and the cavitation is promoted. When a collision plate is disposed at the bottom, the collision impact is more improved. A large amount of the air bubbles join therewith as well and are released from a relief valve. The jets are separated after the reaction and during the progression of the reaction and the disturbance of the cavitation reaction is prevented by the cushion effect of the generated air bubbles. The maintenance of the V-shaped reactor may be easily carried out simply by withdrawing the nozzle section.

In the pulverizing device in which the pulverizing rollers 2 are supported so as to perform pendulum motion in a radical direction of the pulverizing ring 1, pendulum displacement of the pulverizing roller is measured by the displacement gauge 20 and the generation of abnormal vibration can be foreseen by the pendulum displacement measured by the displacement gauge 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soot blower capable of effectively removing ash whatever place the soot blower may be installed. SOLUTION: In a soot blower, the extremity end of a long tube (a lance tube) 1 having gas flowed therein is provided with a pair of nozzles 2a, 2b, gas is injected out of the nozzles 2a, 2b while the lance tube 1 is rotated around a longitudinal axis of the lance tube 1, and ashes or the like adhered to the surface of a heat transmitting pipe are removed by injection flow 3. There is provided a rotating means for reciprocating the lance tube 1 around the longitudinal axis at a predetermined angle, and the injection flow 3 out of the nozzles 2a, 2b is injected against a desired ash removing region by the rotating means to remove ashes. At that time, the nozzles 2a, 2b are installed at positions spaced apart by about 90 deg. in a circumferential direction and then an oscillating motion β is carried out with both oscillation angles of 90 deg. (a movable range 9) with a central part between both nozzles 2a, 2b being applied as a reference.
