摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating unit structural body, a grating and a method of operating the grating. SOLUTION: Cleaning protrusions 11 for air outlets 10 on a grating unit structural body assembled above each grating unit structural body are securely formed, and the air outlets 10 for primary air opened downward are formed below head parts 7 of the grating unit structural bodies. A support mechanism is provided at the head parts 7 of the grating unit structural bodies 2 fixed and guide mechanisms for the individual grating unit structural bodies thereon. The arbitrary number of raking strokes are harmonized with a relatively long cleaning stroke, where one or many of the cleaning protrusions are intruded into the air outlets.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of air and dust in a chute to the outside of a device through a seal pipe by a method wherein a slit hole on a fixed seal plate is blockaded by a movable seal plate while sliding. CONSTITUTION:A seal pipe 21 is pinched between fixed seal plates 22a, 23a and is advanced and retreated together with a link plate on a rail guided by a center adjusting device 36. In this case, seal plate means 22, 23 at both ends of the seal pipe 21 permit the swinging of a link plate 5c along the slit holes 22c, 23c of the fixed seal plates 22a, 23a while the opening parts of the slit holes 22c, 23c, which are changed in accordance with the swinging of the link plate 5c, are blockaded by movable seal plates 22b, 23b, which are provided on the link plate 5c, while sliding on the fixed seal plates 22a, 23a. According to this method, the leakage of air and dust in the chute to the outside of the device through the seal pipe 21 can be prevented.

A grate 234 for use in descending the sludge onto the refractory floor means 33 while the sludge is being ignited has a plurality of through-pass openings 235, and the grate 234 is installed within an enclosed main chamber 32 above the refractory floor means 33 in such a way that it is adjacent to the feeding opening 231. A cooling means is connected to the grate 234 and at the same time the refractory material is installed on the grate.

摘要： PURPOSE: To suppress wear of side guide part due to a mobile frame by forming a tension strand inclined at a specified angle or more relative to the perpendicular longitudinal plane of a grate cooler. CONSTITUTION: A tension strand 4 is formed at an angle α of 3 deg. or more relative to the perpendicular longitudinal plane of a grate cooler. When the tension strand 4 is formed as a leaf spring flexible in the carrying direction but rigid in the lateral direction and secured rigidly to a lateral beam 3, centering power is enhanced because of the angle α of 3 deg. of the tension strand. Grates 14, 15 are not separated 2 mm or more even upon occurrence of friction. The inclining hollow airtight extension 16 of a lower grate housing contains the tension strand 4 which is coupled with a duct 17 for supplying refrigerant to the grates and kept at a constant temperature of refrigerant. Wear of a side guide part due to a mobile frame is thereby suppressed and service life of the grates is prolonged.
