    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire floor block capable of avoiding air bubble formation of air and vapor of an upper side of a cooling space of the fire floor block with a simplified method. SOLUTION: A fire floor block 6 is provided, which forms a part of the fire floor of a plant for heat treating waste, and a block body 20 manufactured with casting includes an upper wall 22 and a front wall 23 both forming a support surface 24 for waste to be processed. The two walls form a cooling space 55 disposed below a support surface, which cooling space is coupled to a water supply line 58 and a drain line 61. The two walls are made thick at a combined portion therebetween, where there is formed a wall transition section 26 having a substantially flat inside surface 27 that forms a cooling space 55 in an upper side region and fills an angular space between the two walls. As a result, formation of air bubbles of air and vapor that obstructs cooling having heat insulation effect in a region on an uppermost side of the cooling space is avoided with simplified means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling efficiency inexpensively by constituting a stoker of a substantially rectangular body section establishing the longitudinal direction, providing an integrally cast snaking pipe and disposing a part of a cooling pipe to run in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The stoker block 1 is substantially formed into a rectangle having a predetermined longitudinal direction L being defined by an upper wall 23, side walls 29a, 29b, front wall 24 and rear wall 21. Two blocks 22 are mounted on the rear wall 21. A cooling pipe 16 and coupling pieces 30, 43 are arranged in the block 1 to run symmetrically to a plane S of symmetry. A part 16a of the pipe 16 runs freely in a first segment and then it is introduced into a casting toward the front wall 24. The part 16a runs in the longitudinal direction L and continues from a bend 16b to a part 16e. According to the structure, the stoker block can be manufactured at low cost and cooled very efficiently.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable constitution of a grate, which satisfies all requests regarding to the operation in an improved state and reduces thermal load to the grate blocks, by applying a most effective coolant and being simplified with assembling and maintenance. SOLUTION: A closed cooling chamber 27' inside the block main body 20' of a grate block 6' below an upper wall 23' bearing waste material is filled with cooling water. The cooling chamber 27' is closed in a sealing manner from the bottom by a base 28' provided with an insulation layer. Effective cooling of the parts of the grate block 6' which are subject to the greatest thermal loading takes place, greatly reducing the temperatures. Since thermal expansions in the material are dispensed with, a grate-block row can be formed by only a few grate blocks 6' screwed to one another. The assembly and exchange of grate blocks are simpler. The undesirable dropping of waste material through the grate between the grate blocks 6' is largely eliminated. Additionally, the grate blocks 6' can be produced from less expensive material.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a waste incinerator, in which the mixing of waste gas in a combustion chamber is promoted and unburnt constituents in waste gas are reduced remarkably. CONSTITUTION:An incinerator is provided with a step type stoker, consisting of a drying stoker 3, a combustion stoker 4 and an after-combustion stoker 5, and an intermediate ceiling 6 while a relative angle of a combustion air discharging hole 15 provided on the grate blocks of respective stokers to the intermediate ceiling 6 is designed so as to be 110 deg.-l20 deg.. When the relative angle is designed so as to be 110 deg.-120 deg., the discharging direction of combustion air is slanted properly toward the rear part of a furnace and waste gas, generated out of respective stokers, flows obliquely toward the rear part of the furnace. Accordingly, unburnt constituents, generated in the drying stoker 3, are attracted to the upper side of the combustion stoker 4 and are mixed with high- temperature waste gas, generated in the combustion stoker 4, whereby the unburnt constituents in the waste gas can be burnt.
