    • PURPOSE:To increase the output of an air-cooled engine having cylinders arranged longitudinally in the form of a V-shape, by making the length of cooling fins of a rear cylinder longer than that of cooling fins of a front cylinder so that the front cylinder and the rear cylinder can be cooled uniformly. CONSTITUTION:An air-cooled V-type engine 5 mounted on a motor cycle has a front cylinder 6 and a rear cylinder 7 arranged longitudinally in the form of a V-shape. The cylinder block and the cylinder head of the rear cylinder 7 are formed with cooling fins 22, 23, and the surface area of these cooling fins 22, 23 are made fairly greater than that of cooling fins 12, 13 formed on the cylinder block and the cylinder head of the front cylinder 6.
