    • PURPOSE:To reduce a harmful component in exhaust gas from a turbine when it is partly loaded, by changing a mounting angle of a variable stationary blade in a compressor so that a flow proportion of fuel to air may be controlled to a fixed range. CONSTITUTION:A flow of fuel F fed to a combustor 4 is measured by a detector 7, and its signal 8 is fed to a control device 9. Here a mounting angle control signal 10 for a variable stationary blade 2 provided in an axial compressor 1 is calculated being fed to a variable stationary blade driving gear 3 so that fuel-air ratio F/A may be controlled to a fixed value. In this way, a turbine, even when it is partly loaded, enables a harmful component in exhaust gas to be reduced by controlling the fuel-air ratio within a fixed range.

    • PURPOSE:To permit smooth and rapid starting operation by igniting a high-pressure combustor and a low-pressure combustor in succession and controlling a low-pressure shaft towards speed increase, after a high-pressure shaft is controlled towards speed increase. CONSTITUTION:When a high-pressure turbine 5 and a low-pressure turbine 8 are started separately and a prescribed ignition revolution number is reached, an ignition signal is sent into the fuel control valve 14 of a high-pressure combustor 4. Then, an ignition signal is sent into the fuel control valve 15 of a low-pressure combustor 7. After ignition, each opening degree of the fuel control valves 14 and 15 is throttled to the min. value, and after the lapse of a prescribed time, a high-pressure shaft is controlled towards the increase of speed according to the acceleration setting schedule, and then a low-pressure shaft is controlled towards speed increase, aiming at the turbine outlet temp. When a prescribed speed is obtained, incorporation with a power generator 9 system is performed. Therefore, starting operation can be preformed smoothly and rapidly.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a surge controller from overrunning by comparing the output from a surge detecting means with a specified reference value to detect any unusual operation of a surge detecting means and constantly restraining creation of any surge. CONSTITUTION:If surging may occur, the target value of the inlet temperature of a turbine is reduced and then gradually returned to the original value. If a surging detecting means may fail, the malfunction of the surge sensor 16 is detected by comparing the output of the means with the reference value which corresponds to the signal value of the surge sensor 16 and fail-safe control is performed so as to restrain the target value of the inlet temperature of a turbine under the specified value. The occurrence of the surging may be thereby forcedly restrained so that the damage of an engine may be prevented.
