    • PURPOSE:To perform recording at desired recording density corresponding to the kind of a recording medium to be used, by performing recording in such a state that the recording medium is brought into contact with a material to be recorded under pressure and making a peel-off angle variable when the recording medium is peeled off from the material to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 24 is mounted on a tiltable head support plate 21 and, at the time of printing, the head support plate 21 is forwardly inclined by a solenoid to allow the printing head 24 to contact with recording paper under pressure. A peel-off angle control guide roller 44 has a male screw provided to the lower end side thereof and the position thereof can be altered by screwing said male screw into one of 16 female screws 43a provided to the guide roller mount plate 43 adhered to an upper plate 2. When an ink ribbon 45 is separated from the printing head 24, said ribbon 45 is rearwardly pulled by the peel-off angle control guide roller 44 and the peel-off angle theta of the ribbon from recording paper 60 after printing can be changed according to the position of the peel-off angle control guide roller 44. Therefore, the optimum peel-off angle can be selected corresponding to the kind of a recording medium to be used and a good recording result is always obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To form a recorded image of a selected color on a recording medium to be recorded by applying heat energy to a heat sensitive transfer recording medium, then varying the shape of a separating member to control a time until an ink sheet or an erasing sheet and the medium to be recorded are separated, and transferring a predetermined ink layer on the medium. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 43 is rotated from an initial position to a standby position, a thermal head 29 is contacted with a platen through a printing sheet and a ribbon 10 at a predetermined angle, and a head arm 28 does not rotate, but since it is rotated along a cam trace 42a of a head pressure arm 45, a pressing force F is applied by a spring 31 to a thermal head 28. At this time, when the rotating speed of a ribbon is so selected that a leaf springlike separating member 40 overcomes Fo, the ribbon starts separating from the end face X of the head. Here, when the ribbon tension is weakened, it is contacted with the platen by a pressing force F'' at a point of a distance l from the end face X of the head, the timing of separating the ribbon from a printing sheet on the platen can be delayed by l, thereby coping, for example, with various types of ribbons, such as multicolor ribbon, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of secrecy by automatically erasing printing traces, by pressing a press body to an ink ribbon after printing to scrape off ink by the press body. CONSTITUTION:Before a cassette case 3 is mounted to a ribbon base 1, a sensor 10 detecting a ribbon end is retracted outwardly by the force of a spring 11. However, if the cassette case 3 is allowed to approach the ribbon base 1, because a receiving part 13 is pressed to the cassette case, the sensor 10 revolves to approach a window 7 to be contacted with an ink ribbon 4. At the same time, a press body 14 presses the surface of the ink layer side of the ink ribbon 4 supported by a leaf spring 16. In this state, the ink ribbon 4 is fed and passes in front of a printing head to be rubbed with the press body 14 and the ink on the ink ribbon 4 is scraped off to be accumulated in an ink sump 21. Therefore, the printing traces of the ink ribbon after use are eliminated.
