    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring about an effect of preventing the growth of fungi, discoloration fungi, and decay fungi growing in wood, since a sufficient effect of a drug is no more obtained because the kind of microorganisms against which the drug is effective is limited and the effect of the drug is deteriorated. SOLUTION: By using a preparation obtained by combining at least one compound selected from an iodine compound and a sulfamide compound with a urea compound, the growth of fungi, discoloration fungi, decay fungi of wood is prevented compared to the case of singly using these compounds, and the preparation can be utilized as a wood preservation composition.
