摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse which does not cause leakage of a gas emitted by melting and evaporating a metal wire and is easily manufactured. SOLUTION: While a pair of metal terminals 11, 11 being installed in parallel, an insulating cover body 5 is formed by insertion molding. A metal wire 12, which is a thin wire made of a low melting point alloy, is tensely extended between one end sides of the metal terminals 11, 11 by connecting both ends of the wire with these end sides. The metal wire 12 and the connection parts of the metal wire 12 and the metal terminals 11, 11 are coated with a foaming organopolysiloxane polymer 13. Of the coated parts, the outer faces do not touch the inner face of an insulating housing body 4 which is formed into a box-like shape having an open part 3 in the case the coated parts are housed in the housing body 4. The cover body 5 is so inserted into the housing body 4 as to house the end sides of the metal terminals 11, 11 between which the metal wire 12 is tensely extended and which, together with the metal wire 12, are coated with the organopolysiloxane polymer 13. The cover body 5 is inserted into the open part 3 of the housing body 4 by pressure and a joint part 7 of the housing body 4 and an engaging part 8 of the cover body 5 are mutually joined to give a fuse 1.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a chip type current protecting element excellent in insulation property after fused by having an insulating substrate, a pair of electrodes and a current protecting element wiring portion provided with a cavity in place to be fused. CONSTITUTION: An extremely thin copper foil 110 and a copper foil 130 are provided on both faces of an organic resin base material 120 to form the pattern of a current protecting element wiring portion 150 with 3-8μm wirings on the extremely thin copper foil 110. The pattern is formed for a plural of current protecting element wiring portion 150 to be longitudinally in series across an electrode portion 140 and laterally in one line of continuously parallel arrangement. Other copper foils 130 are provided on both faces, an organic resin base material 121 with a cavity forming hole 160 is prepared and the current protecting element wiring portion composition, the insulating material with the hole and an organic resin insulating base material 123 with a copper foil 130 on one face are adhered and jointed together. An end face connecting hole 170 is made in such a laminate, plating 180 is applied thereto and then an electrode portion 190 is formed. In this way, a chip type current protecting element excellent in fusion property is provided.

摘要： PURPOSE: To manufacture a chip type current protecting element excellent in long-time reliability by providing a pair of electrodes at both ends of a fluororesin insulating substrate to form a current protecting element wiring portion of specific thickness coated with a fluororesin layer on the surface of the insulating substrate between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION: An entremely thin copper foil 10 with an Al carrier and a copper foil 3 are layered and adhered onto both faces of a polytetrafluoroethylene insulating substrate 2, respectively, and the Al carrier is separated therefrom. An end face connecting hole 4 is made in the substrate 2 and plating 5 is applied to the electrode portion 6 and the through-hole portion. The pattern of the current protecting element wiring portion 7 formed of a 3-8μm thick metal layer and coated with a fluorine contained resin layer is formed to be longitudinally is series across the electrode portion 6 and laterally in one line of continuous arrangement. On this surface, a polytetrafluoroethylene resin film 8 with a hole in the corresponding-to-electrode portion is thermally pressed. In this way, a chip type current protecting element being possible to weld at low current is provided.

CONSTITUTION:A holder A having a wire fuse-element is formed out of an insulation plate 1 made of heat resistant material having through-holes la to 1d, and a pair of conductive plates 2 laid on the plate 1 and having through- holes aligned with the holes la and 1d for integration therewith, while eyelets 3 being driven from surface and fixed. As a result, the plate 1 comes to have the plates 2 integrated with the holes 1a and 1d, while the holes lb and 1c are kept in such state as directly drilled only through the plate 1. Also, a wire fuse-element 4 of absolute diameter sized to the rated current capacity of a fuse passes through the small holes of the eyelets 3, and both ends thereof are jointed to the surface of the plates 2 with solder 10. According to this construction, constant temperature rise distribution can be obtained from the heat release effect of a unit division due to contact.
